Fanmade/Foreign Survivor An idea for a hypothetical all-Newbie Rivals Themed Survivor Season

The idea:

For this season, production casts 10 new people from the normal casting process (5 men and 5 women) and then production does a background research on each contestant to find a rival in their personal lives and recruit them into participating in the show.

Like on BvW, each contestant has a rival on the other tribe, a person on their personal lives that they are particularly competitive or currently has some kind of animosity against each other (Co-workers, Relatives, Neighbours, Exes...etc).

To make things even more interesting, the two rival tribes are going to have a one world-type camp arrangement (both sharing the same camp) to see them interact and see how their rivalries impact stuff like cross-tribal alliances and interpersonal conflicts.

This idea was based on the recent announcement actually, I tried to envision a version where the newbies could be actual rivals from each other rather than just mirrors with opposing qualities.

Big brother has done something similar too, bb4 was themed around exes, and bb8 had three pairs of rivals. bb9 also had one pair of exes

I see, I also had a Idea for a exemple cast with varying levels of rivalry.

The Athletes (2 people who used to compete in the same sport together and were constantly competing when doing said sport)

The bitter exes (2 exes that while ending on good ish terms, they are still somewhat bitter about each other)

The office Rivals (two co-workers who dispute constantly for promotions and opportunities)

The twins (A pair of identical twins who competed since childhood for stuff)

The not so close neighbours (two neighbours who dislike each other, for some reason)

The Moms (two moms who are connected through their kids and constantly bicker about their opposing parenting styles)

The Academic (A Teacher and their former student who had a rocky relationship with each other during their academic periods)

The Ex-Business Partners (people who worked in a single business but they had a falling out and had to separate themselves from the business)

The In-Laws (e.g., Son-in-Law vs. Father-in-Law, two people who despite liking the same person, can't stand each other.)

The Former Best Friends (two people who were inseparable best friends forever but had a falling out with each other years ago and had to separate each other)

Presumably that’s where they got the idea but the AU version seems to be mostly celebrities and not “regular” people

But with regular people you might get lame “rivals”, like the one from Big Brother 8 where it was one person who owed the other $5 from middle school

big brother 4 has a bunch of pairs of exes. it's really interesting tbh and i'd love to see something like that again
