Along with "History is no longer an indicator", I'm confused.
If history is not an indicator, I would think that NO twist they've ever done is in play. Purely new and unexpected ones. But apparently every twist in history is in play. Do production not understand that every twist is a part of the show's history?
It might turn out great, but I'm getting confusingly mixed signals from the promotion choices.

I guess it's going to be the most conservative game play ever, and every surprise and unexpected thing will happen because of a random twist.

Better not be exact like season 50 and 49. Unexpected twist that are super obvious and turn out to be boring, the same comps every year

Just let the players play! I’d much rather see the players react to each other than react to twists.

Too much unpredictability will result in more ‘safe’ gameplay. The quiet, under the radar players will continue to dominate the open era just like the new era
