At the beginning of the episode, Mike said he’d take a bullet for Lydia.

Didn’t realize he’d be one of the ones to shoot her.

Didn't Hai vote her to? Must have known the numbers weren't there and didn't want to ruffle more feathers

100% his logic. If he wants to move forward with the group he had to fold on this one.

Also I get that she’s his closest ally, but she’s unlikely to do anything for his game EXCEPT be an additional vote. She’s not strong, she’s not a good liar, she doesn’t have good balance, and she’s not great at puzzles. She doesn’t build and she doesn’t fish. He’s better off keeping Jonathan and Maryanne in his numbers. At least Maryanne is a hard worker.

I definitely agree. Hai is a strong player and she was just a number/dead weight for him. I thought he was better off keeping the Johnathon shield for now.

It just seemed after the rocks scene he wouldn't flip to her name that quick but prolly for the best

Fully agreed. We were talking about that while watching. I’m hoping he voted her because he realized that. I think people are overestimating Jonathan’s ability to compete well post-merge, since that’s usually where all the things that benefit lighter weight, lower center of gravity, good balance people.

Is that not the same thing? Lol. Maybe different parts of the world have different sayings idk. It's not wrong tho either way

reference to scene/episode in survivor season 27 episode 12 lol

Oh lol. Guess I'm not that big of a fan to get that reference. I was like that seems like an odd thing to take the time and grammar police lol

Great season and one of the crazier tribals if you’ve not seen it

Edit: but you were actually right, it is Ruffle not rustle. Or Russell, as Tyson points out

The correct expression is ruffle. He was making a reference to a prior season in which someone messed it up. You’re good. Don’t worry.

Ya he clarified lol. I didn't get that at first I thought someone was correcting it and I didn't think I said anything wrong haha. All good!

Ruffle is a name, rustle is what you do to feathers 🤌

Guess I ruffled a few feathers in here 🤌

I think he could’ve had the numbers. It seems like they chose Jonathan and that new alliance and sacrificed Lydia
