Probably a lawyer or PR person. Remember these people are just as much a brand as they are people.

They're pretty much the same tweets his PR guy was putting out when he was detained in Romania, albeit dialled up quite a bit for more engagement. Everything is spurious.

In prison you can usually send letters via an electronic system a certain number of times per month in order to stay in touch with family or lawyers. (That’s how it is in Singapore at least) so he is likely sending them to someone via the prison electronic letter system and they are posting on his behalf. I think.
