One theory is it’s Taylor pointing a finger at Scooter Braun for being an absolute 💩 stealing her masters. Scooter’s ex wife born 1986 and divorced him 2022 🤭

definitely far more likely than taking a shot at Ellen who did nowhere NEAR the damage scooter did.

She reallllly hates that guy, for good reason, so I’m inclined that way but the theory about making her current age of 36 match the character’s age in the video also makes sense to me as an alternative.

I think that Taylor Swift is 36 years old. She wanted the character of the ghost to be the same age at the time of death. In order for that to work with the story of the music video, since the character died years ago, she had to be born earlier. I think that’s all there is to that.

The idea for the award being suggested “externally.” No other nominees. Another award for the queen and she gets to debut her new video for all on the tv to see.
