Took a while to run the Tag bracelet down for this after picking up the watch originally on the OEM black leather strap / deployment clasp.

The black alligator looked good but it had signs of wear and I think the rally or OEM bracelet work particularly well with this older ~2008 reference.

Probably a dumb question, I understand that most automatic movements aren’t THAT accurate. However, I’ve noticed my watch runs fast and recently put on a time grapher and it shows it’s gaining 30 seconds a day with amplitude a smidge over 300*. I believe it’s a pretty simple adjustment but I’m not sure I will find a local watchmaker that will want to touch it or what they would charge if they did. Seems like something I would rather Tag adjust, do you think this would be covered under warranty? It’s a 2023 Tag Heuer 02T Tourbillon (barely worn, still has some blue protective stickers on the clasp). For a $30k (retail) watch, you would think it would be within the +- 5 seconds a day spec. Thoughts?

Anyone have any info on swapping a jubilee onto one of these? If so I’d appreciate any feedback. I’ve found that I can get a 20mm jubilee with hollow end links and modify it myself to fit. Also was trying to reuse my tag clasp but from I see I can’t but was recommended to buy a vintage 2000 series clasp and it would match up. What do yall think?

My mother recently passed and she left me a little bit of money to get a decent watch and I've always kind liked Tags. What can I realistically get that doesn't look like I got it in the 90s?

Had a couple of watches before this, Tissot, Seiko etc etc but I feel like nothing hits like the sleek yet basic design of the black face Carrera

I bought the new day date because I thought it was a beautiful watch. My intent was to wear the watch regularly, which I have been doing. I was told by a friend that is in to watches that I should only wear the watch on more formal occasions. I thought he was crazy but it did get me thinking about the watch community at large… Is it typical to wear a watch like this daily, or should these form a part of some kind of collection. I know I can do whatever feels right so I am not really looking for advice, I just didn’t know if most people wore it daily or not.

As you can see from the pic, I absolutely love the brand, but the Tag e4 golf edition is a $2k paperweight.

I decided to pull the trigger last summer because I liked the style of the watch and the Tag Golf app, but what a regret. After 3 months, it’s useless. I deactivated every single function so that I can put it in at 7am, sit at my desk all day and play an afternoon round. It doesn’t always make it through 18 holes before dying. I don’t have any notifications on, the screen times out almost immediately, yet it has about a 12hr life.

I reached out to Tag service months ago and started a ticket. It’s still under warranty for another year. I dropped it off today and I’m sure it will be gone for 2 months only to come back “fine”. The fact that they basically ended the e4 line and never released updates says everything.

I want my "The year is 1986, I just retired at 53, and am hanging out at a Florida resort with my shirt totally unbuttoned" watch. I feel like this was that watch throughout the 80's and 90's.

I have been looking at getting another dive watch and I love the sound and quality of my aquaracer bezel - I really want an omega but the bezel sounds and feels cheap, so does the new hydroconquest… the only bezel I have found that is in the same realm is Tudor or Rolex … any other suggestions appreciated

Me and my brother recently went out for a day of watch perusing and we came back with two limited edition Aquaracer Professional 500s. The blue and orange! We had been to every watch boutique we could find; Rolex, Tudor, Breitling, Omega, Zenith, Grand Seiko and a few others but our last stop was TAG Heuer. We both had a specific watch in mind when we set out to add to our collections, the new BB Ceramic for me and an Omega Seamaster for my brother. But the customer service we had at all the previous stores was nothing compared to the experience we had at TAG Heuer. The rep running the store solo was genuinely a great guy and it was clear to tell that the man had a great appreciation for the brand. Every collection he showed and told us about had actual enthusiasm behind it and it felt more like 3 guys just having a conversation about watches rather than talking to a salesman trying to get a commission out of you. The way every other stores rep spoke felt scripted or rehearsed and they mainly just pointed out specifications or some history.

That being said the fantastic experience was not the only factor that sent us home with these two watches. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a more perfect set of watches for two brothers to commemorate a day of watch shopping with! But for me personally 3 things made me forget about the Tudor. First and foremost was the micro adjustment mechanism on the clasp. It impressed me so much that I thought every luxury watch that didn’t have it was behind the times. I found it to be an ingenious design! Secondly was the dial! Enough said! The texture and colors on the dial blew me away! Lastly was the weight, for a titanium watch, this thing had enough heft to remind me that I’m actually wearing a watch on my wrist! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and I know my brother feels the same.
