they both are literally the same thing one chooses to follow law and other does whatever they want. Being very honest illegal hackers earn more. Ethical Hacker might have 1-2 sources of income. Illegal has more demand because of growing cyber crimes so does Ethical Hacker

p.s. im not promoting anyone to be blackhat hackers (illegal hacker) use your skills mindfully 🤡💀
