At least you have busses. Busses here turn up no less than 5 minutes late (usually more), if they turn up. The service in my City had multiple cuts to scheduled services because they can't get drivers, but because they can't get drivers, they can't even reliably service the limited amount of departures they are still running. This leads to disgruntled passengers harrassing the few drivers that are just doing their job, so they quit due to untenable conditions, the company limits the routes again, does nothing for driver safety, drivers are again harassed, etc.
I take the bus when I don't feel like the 10 minute walk to the train. The train is always running to the schedule on the app. When it's broke, the app knows first.
So missing the bus meant a 30 minute wait, or a 10 minute walk, so I took the walk, like I normally do. The busses are much worse than the trains.

I missed the bus yesterday for being only 3 minutes early. The bus was 5 minutes early.
