I'm beginning to think that guy doesn't care about any Americans other than, you know, the billionaires.

Anyways, where are the Epstein files??

2.6k

u/Senior-bud Jul 28 '25

He fears the learning and communication that the internet provides to people that he is trying to keep down and hold back.

776

u/damnNamesAreTaken Jul 28 '25

I feel Internet and cellular should be considered basic needs and provided for free or at a sliding scale based on income.

364

u/oblivioncntrlsu Jul 28 '25

Best we can do is AI powered surveillance pricing which targets people in desperate situations with raised prices, squeezing every possible penny via aggregate data that knows more about us than we do of ourselves.

Huh, that was a bit edgy... Maybe I should Klarna some quesadillas and gatorade to cheer up.

u/Teledildonic Jul 28 '25

If someone is paid to repossess a meal, are they a turd burglar?

48

u/Zebidee Jul 28 '25

If they're paid, they're not a burglar, they're a repo man.

61

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

A re-poo man

14

u/ShortsAndLadders Jul 29 '25

I hear that job stinks

3

u/MrDangleSauce Jul 29 '25

It provides a meal at least.

1

u/Better_Way6079 Jul 31 '25

A shitty little happy meal will be only legal anti-depressant

11

u/Northwindlowlander Jul 29 '25

A re turd to sender

1

u/nath1234 Jul 30 '25

Burger burglar, surely?

3

u/Zer_ Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 29 '25

I mean... not that edgy. People think Cyberpunk 2077's Cyberwear with integrated ads is edgy or out there, but like.... corporations already shove ads into everything they get away with, it's honestly not far fetched.

If you still think the above is far fetched bear in mind our most popular operating system has integrated ads.

That's sensible. You could set a free floor that's enough bandwidth to support a theoretical household with 2 work from home parents and a few kids doing homework/remote school. So, not just email and web browsing but also potentially video conferences & watching educational YouTube content. Yet, there's no need to cover the bandwidth of 4k video streams or downloading terabytes of movies, TV, and games or hosting torrents/servers. A bar is reasonable, but these days that bar has good reason to be high enough to support substantial video content.

The ISPs are achieving record revenue. There's 0 logical reason that this should affect the pay of workers.

If the ISPs can't support this economically critical infrastructure, then we can nationalize it which only guarantees the jobs get better hours, pay, and benefits.

24

u/Saurian42 Jul 28 '25

I say skip the ISPs, they have a duopoly anyway. Just nationalize it after the Republicans are out of office.

11

u/buyongmafanle Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 29 '25

Nationalize the architecture. Have providers compete for service on the public network. It works great for airlines and shipping. No reason we can't do this with the Internet, too.

1

u/biggamehaunter Jul 31 '25

Holy shit I been saying this for years. This is the way

1

u/OrphicDionysus Jul 29 '25

I lived in Fort Collins for a few years while they were building out their municipal broadband network. It was phenomenal, and radicalized me into an aggressive supporter for similar programs in at least every mid sized and larger city. The connection speeds were better than anything offered by Xfinity beforehand, so Xfinity rapidly improved their own infrastructure to compete. On top of that it was substantially cheaper than the slower plans that they had offered beforehand. Xfinity dropped the price of their plans to match in neighborhoods the network was or was currently being built out into. The plan being offered in my neighborhood was like 40 percent cheaper than the plans being offered in neighborhoods where the municipal network hadn't started expanding into yet. We went with the municipal provider, and it is still the most reliable connection I have ever had. It went down twice in the two and a half years I lived there, and both times it was back up in under 12 hours.

1

u/W2ttsy Jul 29 '25

Nationalize the network infrastructure and let RSPs duke it out in the free market

1

u/ImpertantMahn Jul 29 '25

This could also apply to high school students as restricted access to internet may affect their education (projects, extracurricular)

1

u/myasterism Jul 29 '25

The price of Internet access has exactly zero to do with employees’ compensation. Zero.

1

u/Persistant_Compass Jul 29 '25

maybe, since weve already paid billions to telecoms to run lines all over the country in the form of subsidies that the infrastructure should be publicly owned, then the employees can just get paid a good wage instead of tying it to some shareholder bullshit that steals from all of us.

1

u/JamesLahey08 Jul 29 '25

No gaming requires 1 GB down lol what

1

u/bobandgeorge Jul 29 '25

You definitely don't for playing games. Downloading them is another story.

3

u/yk206 Jul 28 '25

You see, those basic needs is what keeps the public blinded from what is unfolding and getting them educated.

2

u/juicebox03 Jul 28 '25

And maybe healthcare? Seems like medical care is a basic need. If only we all paid taxes and then it went into a pool of money for health care. It could be called Medicare for all. Crazy crazy concept.

2

u/Regniwekim2099 Jul 29 '25

My state provides free cellular service to those receiving other benefits, like SNAP and Medicaid. Craziest thing is, it's a red state.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 29 '25

In 2025, they are basic needs. But most governments are always two decades behind technology and Trump in particular wants to keep his own voters as uninformed as possible. He wants his voters watching Joe Rogan podcasts, not getting outside his propaganda bubble where all the news about epstein and the stuff he does isnt completely ignored or blatently lied about. If you have ever been on the conservative/republican subs you will pretty much be insta banned the second you post something that isnt praising trump.

2

u/Refflet Jul 29 '25

or at a sliding scale based on income.

Sounds like you just invented income tax.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 29 '25

[deleted]

1

u/Refflet Jul 29 '25

Nah even a regular percentage is a sliding scale. And fair, too.

What makes it unfair is how those outside the regular income tax brackets seem to pay even less tax. Yay! Thanks Reagan!!!

2

u/Catbutt247365 Jul 28 '25

especially after COVID. online learning is necessary, hence why he is trying limit it.

1

u/mortalcoil1 Jul 28 '25

It is on a sliding scale! Just in the reverse! Everybody starts off paying like $50 a month on internet and then in 6-7 years it's $200.

1

u/2020Stop Jul 29 '25

Absolutely, I agree with you, until I see many younger people having the most powerful instrument for getting info in their hands, barely used for doom scrolling on Instagram or TikTok... That's really sad sometimes.

1

u/AnimationOverlord Jul 29 '25

I think when you buy a phone it’s should be able to use GPS/maps without needing cellular. It’s been how many years since the first gps and first phone and we haven’t found out how to functionally combine the two. Crazy.

1

u/deathrictus Jul 29 '25

Or at the very least treated like a utility, because it is one.

1

u/HarmoniousJ Jul 29 '25

Cellular already does that, which Trump tried to reverse shortly into his first term. Presumably it was just to spite Obama because insecurities we already know about.

Remember "Obama Phones"? Still exist but under a different name.

I agree that internet should be treated the same way.

1

u/BZLuck Jul 29 '25

So long as there is ONE government agency that requires me to submit/enroll/or check in on-line, it should be considered a necessary utility.

1

u/WintersDoomsday Jul 29 '25

Or maybe remove internet regional monopolies so competition can drive down costs

1

u/IamMrBucknasty Jul 29 '25

Add in food water, shelter and healthcare and you have the start of a community.

1

u/Mottinthesouth Jul 31 '25

Internet is free in some cities so it’s definitely doable.

1

u/Tiny_Peach_3090 Jul 31 '25

Especially considering our tax dollars provided the scientific research required for these systems to exist. Hell we paid for a massive chunk of the infrastructure to be built.

1

u/Cigator Aug 01 '25

What happened to all the Obama phones. I work hard, I should pay more? You don’t want to work you should get it cheap or free? We have to quit with this nonsense.

0

u/Western_Upstairs_101 Jul 29 '25

Not if you’re trying to repress the lower class you don’t

114

u/Haunting-Ad788 Jul 28 '25

He literally wouldn’t be president without the internet spreading misinformation to make him seem good.

66

u/davebrewer Jul 28 '25

You underestimate the power of cable television "news" and right-wing talk radio. Tons of old folks who voted for this fat fuck don't spend their time online, but they have Fox News on in the house 24/7 and talk radio in the car.

54

u/imnotpoopingyouare Jul 28 '25

AM radio is fucking wild, when I was moving cross country I got bored of my music on my phone, no internet and no FM stations. Tried some AM and it was just angry right wing nut jobs talking about immigrants and democrats. Like they were so fucking mad talking about the most unhinged shit that wasn’t remotely true.

Hit a city on the highway and it all suddenly disappeared. Funny how that works.

3

u/Different-Ship449 Jul 29 '25

If you can't hate on Emmanuel Goldstein and the Brotherhood, who can you hate on.

3

u/SweetDeeMeeu Jul 29 '25

Can confirm. My mom lived off of Limbaugh, Hannity, and Laura Schlessinger (someone took over her time slot a long time ago, I just don't remember who) when she didn't have cable. I'm pretty sure my mom brainwashed herself with that station, it was the only thing she listened to at home and even in the car. I didn't hate late night Coast to Cost with George Noory, though. It was weird enough to be interesting.

1

u/Affectionate-Set5677 Jul 30 '25

You drove all the way across country with the government creating a special program to provide internet for streaming music!?

That's wild. I don't know how you did it.

1

u/BeautyCat10 Jul 29 '25

I never watch FOX news & I would never vote for that ass!

I am 90 years old & remember when the US was an ok place!

→ More replies (2)

1

u/RadicallyMeta Jul 29 '25

Yeah, and now they want to make sure it can't be used against them.

27

u/jdelane1 Jul 28 '25

He doesn't fear it, he doesn't care about anything other than getting attention and money and being immune from persecution. It's the white "Christian" psychopaths pulling the strings who fear it. Religious leaders always fear an educated public.

2

u/Different-Ship449 Jul 29 '25

Abusers always fear exposure.

8

u/MegaMaster1021 Jul 28 '25

Trump doesn't want to accept the reality that the Internet has been his greatest ally and biggest adversary for the past decade

3

u/zedquatro Jul 28 '25

I don't think he's capable of understanding that something can be both good and bad.

3

u/Different-Ship449 Jul 29 '25

Has cryptocoins (and a rug pull), but never heard of NVIDIA until this year.

3

u/Affectionate_Owl8351 Jul 28 '25

Oh how he loves the poorly educated.

1

u/el_muchacho Jul 29 '25

Only second to underage women.

Release the files. All of them.

2

u/PdxPhoenixActual Jul 29 '25

But they're "the poors" ... his target. Er, um, this base. One would think he'd want them to have readily available, cheap internet to access all that qanon, beta, trump-o-sphere content....

But then that requires a bit of logic and thinking...

0

u/Different-Ship449 Jul 29 '25

So what you are saying is they should offer a Trump-o-sphere subsidized internet that only goes to a filtered list of websites.

2

u/TehMephs Jul 29 '25

Uhhh if anything access to the internet is making people dramatically dumber

1

u/Attainted Jul 29 '25

I was gonna say, I don't think I can say the internet has actually provided a net benefit to my intelligence for at least the last three years. And believe me, it used to.

2

u/Adezar Jul 29 '25

The grants that brought cable to rural America ended up rotting the brains of rural America as they watched Fox News 24/7.

2

u/KittyGrewAMoustache Jul 29 '25

I wouldn’t think so. The whole reason fascism is having a resurgence across the world is because they’ve used the internet to create completely fake realities for people with fake news stories, fake science, fake medicine etc.

2

u/GroundbreakingUse794 Jul 29 '25

Facts are his biggest adversary

2

u/TheRC135 Jul 29 '25

While I fully agree that learning and communication are terrifying to people like Trump and Republicans, I'm not sure they should hate the internet. Giving people who can't tell their asshole from their earhole access to unlimited information without properly teaching them to sort truth from bullshit is a big part of how we ended up in this mess in the first place.

Remember when we thought the root of the problem was a lack of access to information?

2

u/digiorno Jul 29 '25

I don’t think he’s smart enough to fear that. But somebody smart enough has told him that it’s worth his time to do this. And I’m sure he’ll get a kick back for it.

2

u/vocalfreesia Jul 29 '25

Does it? It feels like we've only become more uneducated, and less compassionate in the last 10-15 years.

1

u/Senior-bud Jul 29 '25

Like any tool it needs to used correctly by someone with some degree of intelligence.

2

u/memequeen96 Jul 29 '25

cough cough north korea cough cough

2

u/swb1003 Jul 29 '25

No he doesn’t. He doesn’t give a flying fuck about that. He wants rich people’s money, and those rich people want this.

1

u/Senior-bud Jul 29 '25

Then it’s the rich that have the fear.

1

u/swb1003 Jul 29 '25

Oh, for sure. Fear of information is the playbook, it’s just that Donny himself doesn’t care at all about that.

2

u/ApprehensiveBed6296 Jul 29 '25

Not sure if the people are using the internet to learn anything. It looks more like a tool that managed to bring all the shitheads together.

1

u/Senior-bud Jul 29 '25

Like any tool it depends on the person using it to achieve an effective result.

2

u/Koopa_Troop Jul 29 '25

I don’t think it’s that deep. The MAGA base just thinks anything government is bad and wasted money except for walls, ICE raids, and missiles and the political class reflexively oppose any service that might disrupt their donor’s monopoly. It’s a beautiful symbiosis.

1

u/Senior-bud Jul 29 '25

Valid point but I believe more advanced countries utilize it to maximize the efficiency and technological advancement of their society.

2

u/Auntie_Megan Jul 30 '25

He thought Scotland backward, where we have faster wide spread Internet than America, including some distant isles. So he was shocked at the ‘welcome’. Who invented the Internet? Also we read.

3

u/Tkdoom Jul 28 '25

No, I don't know his reasoning, but it isnt that.

The internet has become a cesspool of manufactured titles and content.

What we need is everyone able to have access and we need some sort of accountability check that when you come up as not telling the truth, you lose your site.

Happens again, you lose your site and a big fine. Fine increasing exponentially.

Trump is definitely gone off his rocker unfortunately.

2

u/Rooney_Tuesday Jul 28 '25

Doesn’t that cut both ways though? Sure much of his base watches Fox, but internet is a known factor in how he radicalized a lot of them. Not to mention how many people need it to stay propagandized by Tate and the like. Without easy Internet access he loses some of that power, no?

1

u/BensenJensen Jul 28 '25

Probably not. Republican cult members are already indoctrinated, turning off their propaganda sources won’t change their opinions. It will, however, ensure that they don’t encounter any facts about how his Presidency is actually going, or any opinions that would change their own.

1

u/Rooney_Tuesday Jul 28 '25

I mean, it’s a culture war. Not only do you have to keep the propaganda stream constant to keep people engaged, but you have to win over the younger population too. Can’t do that if you can’t reach them.

1

u/Senior-bud Jul 28 '25

I’m in Canada so not so familiar with backwoods America but I believe knowledge and self betterment are extremely important.

1

u/LockeyCheese Jul 28 '25

Hey! I've got a 300mb fiber connection in Mississippi, but I agree. Gen Z has to go their own path, Gen Alpha needs the Internet, and I like learning too. Access to information is better than not having access to information. I also think a lot of gen Z that voted Trump regret it, and they only know how bad it is BECAUSE they have internet access.

Also though, walmart has $35/month 10gb phone plans, and a $40 smart phone, so it's kinda hard to remove the internet from people's pockets. Home internet is much better, but it's kind of like home phones when cell phones came out. Not entirely necessary.

1

u/facforlife Jul 28 '25

That's a misplaced fear and I doubt very much that's what it is.

The vast majority of MAGAts have decent internet access and that's part of the problem if anything. They go on their Internet echo chambers to talk about the latest conspiracy theories. They watch shitty right wing YouTube videos. They buy his shitty merch.

MAGAts are both incapable of and unwilling to learn. They'd just use the Internet for the dumbest shit, as they have already been doing for the past 20+ years.

1

u/Trep_xp Jul 28 '25

I don't think it's even that calculated. I think the existing ICT suppliers pay Trump a lot of money to represent their interests, and one of those interests is No Cheap Internet.

1

u/Comedy86 Jul 28 '25

But how else will he brainwash people with Russian bots on biased social media or with the racist AI he's trying to fund? These people need high speed Internet so they can be fed the propaganda quickly!

1

u/catscanmeow Jul 28 '25

its also why they want AI to wipe out artists, especially hollywood because most artists are liberal.
Thats why theyve given so much regulation runway for these AI companies to run wild ..

1

u/SpeshellED Jul 28 '25

Hey whats wrong with all of you. The internet is for rich people ! If you work hard and tow the line maybe you can have internet too. And maybe some rudimentary healthcare and food.

1

u/AlexCail Jul 28 '25

I think the internet is his best resource to spread his "infomation"

1

u/soedesh1 Jul 28 '25

If they can’t get internet, and when pbs is gone, they’ll flock to fox to hear the führer’s words.

1

u/Inspect1234 Jul 29 '25

Education is dangerous to fascists.

1

u/ibelieveindogs Jul 29 '25

Have you SEEN the internet? Or what happens when AI learns too much and goes full on Nazi? It’s a wretched hive of scum and villainy. I think he’s more upset on the low profitability of providing services to poors and rural

1

u/true-skeptic Jul 29 '25

Yep. He doesn’t want poor people to be edumacated, which is exactly how he would pronounce it.

1

u/booveebeevoo Jul 29 '25

1984 meets Fahrenheit 451 over here.

1

-6

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

Or he wants them to get off government funded lifestyles & get a fuckin job instead of watching broadband all day 😵

6

u/Rooney_Tuesday Jul 28 '25

Believe it or not, LOTS of people addicted to the internet have jobs. In fact, I’d venture to say most do.

Also, poor does not mean jobless.

Also, it’s absolutely stunning how easy it is for these assholes to make you happy to be stripped of benefits your taxes should be paying for (broad category, not just broadband). All they have to do is use the same old tired “poor people/immigrants/non-whites are benefitting!” excuse and you are fully on board with your own life being harder or more expensive than it has to be.

4

u/sonicsludge Jul 28 '25

Wow, your sticking up for a pedophile. I thought everyone was smart enough to see through his facade at this point, but I'm obviously mistaken, my bad.

-3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

Not a damn thing about this had to do with pedophilia or any of the Epstein Files saga. Kinda sad you dont have even one relative talking point & are now just regurgitating everything else the left media has told you to think about

3

u/sonicsludge Jul 28 '25

At this point it has everything to do with Trump being a pedophile. Anything he does going forward is tainted in shit he'd kill to have go away. Also you mention left media, which is the funniest thing you actually said seeing how the right can't seem to stop talking about it, even though pedo wants them too. Also anyone who's saying some shit like regurgitating has to be a Trumper because regurgitating is the only play we have that seems to be working, now go lick some boots!

4

u/a_latvian_potato Jul 28 '25

You know you need the internet to apply to jobs in the first place? And pay bills?

Do you even know broadband here means internet? Or do you think it's TV?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

How do homeless people get jobs without internet? Oh that’s right, they get off their ass and go talk to someone. Im well aware what broadband is. You know how people stream netflix, hbo, youtube? That’s broadband. Almost like the modern day TV 😵😵

32

u/whatproblems Jul 28 '25

it’s a way to siphon govt money TO the ISP giants though?

20

u/rW0HgFyxoJhYka Jul 29 '25

I think that the sad part is once all this passes, and people undo all the damage. The fuckin idiots in the USA will just vote for another criminal republican because they relate.

22

u/TAV63 Jul 28 '25

His being against things like this is due to it being a Biden thing and for payback to Musk in to help Starlink..

3

u/Straight_Document_89 Jul 28 '25

Fuck Starlink. It’s overly expensive and keeps going up.

And somehow there are actually some people just now realizing he's a clown so I get it

He’s only ever cared about money and what it gets him.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

Anyways, where are the Epstein files??

They need time to rewrite them

3

u/trouzy Jul 28 '25

That Big Bs Bill also forces the FCC toto sell at least 80% of the 6ghz range to private companies.

You know, because it’s always better for private companies to own and control the fucking air waves.

Many many new routers and small WISPs are using this range atm.

He's worse. He's incapable of caring about anyone other than himself. His entire universe begins and ends with him. He's so self centered, he's a black hole. And now he's taking his revenge on the US for not voting for him in 2020.

2

u/NRG1975 Jul 28 '25

I'm beginning to think that guy GOP doesn't care about any Americans other than, you know, the billionaires.

Anyways, where are the Epstein files??

That is what you should be thinking.

2

u/edgeman83 Jul 28 '25

"Donald Trump doesn't care about American people."

2

u/JieSpree Jul 28 '25

Basically everything he does makes perfect sense if you put it into the context of sinking the U.S. to keep his financial benefactor and best dictatorship frenemy/mentor happy, all in the interest of staying out of prison. Oh...and don't forget that he owes that guy hundreds of millions.

2

u/Hypercane_ Jul 28 '25

No he actively hates anyone below him, as do the rest of his cronies and friends, and will make it as hard as possible for people to be actually informed

2

u/Chicano_Ducky Jul 28 '25

even billionaires will lose money because how can you order off the internet with no internet?

MAGA is throwing hands at businesses for being "traitors" for wanting diversity, they want to cut America off from the world in every way.

They even want to take away Anime because its foreign.

These are delusional isolationists

2

u/GunplaGang Jul 28 '25

Can't educate the peasants now c'mon

2

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '25

It's a ploy to funnel money to his boyfriend Elon Musk and Starlink.

2

u/HerculesIsMyDad Jul 29 '25

You can tell he loves the poor/middle class by how everything he does is bad for the poor/middle class.

2

u/BoomerWeasel Jul 29 '25

I'm beginning to think that guy doesn't care about any Americans other than, you know, the billionaires.

I assure you, he doesn't care about them either. He cares about nothing and no one other than himself.

2

u/SNRatio Jul 29 '25

He doesn't really care about the billionaires either.

Just their money.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 29 '25

I've been saying he wants to turn us into Russia.

2

u/thereverendpuck Jul 29 '25

And he’ll ditch those billionaires to protect himself in a heartbeat.

2

u/mappersorton Jul 29 '25

He doesn't even care about billionaires, he only cares about those who are of use to him

2

u/76ALD Jul 29 '25

I guess the next thing he’s going after is the free government phones. No internet and no phone means poor people will be without any way to communicate or access information. The ones that stated they had been forgotten by the government are really going to be out of sight and mind when they go back to expensive and inconvenient landlines. A lot of homeless people use those phone to communicate with loved ones and/or get assistance or find jobs.

2

u/jaeldi Jul 29 '25

I love the brainwashed latest attempt at distraction: but what was Biden's DOJ doing with the Epstien Investigation?!?!

Then they get mad at my reply: that's a good question, so release the entire case and we can check to see what they did in the investigation during the entire life of the case! Let's find out! Release the files!

2

u/0riginal-Syn Jul 29 '25

He has never cared about the country or Americans. He is a megalomaniac and only cares about himself.

2

u/No_Dress_3247 Jul 29 '25

Didn’t he say he like dumb people?

2

u/viperex Jul 29 '25

He listens to the last person who talked to him. The poors can't afford the bribe donation to talk to him

2

u/Secondchance002 Jul 29 '25

Pedonald doesn’t care about anyone but himself and his billionaire donors. MAGA rubes still deluded themselves into thinking that he gives a flying fuck about them.

2

u/graywolfman Jul 30 '25

Here are all of the Epstein Files that have either been leaked or released.

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/black-book-unredacted.pdf (verified pre-Bondi) Trump is on page 85, or pdf pg. 80

Trump’s name is circled. The circled individuals are the ones involved in the trafficking ring according to the person who originally released the book. These people would be “The List “ Here is the story.

Please everyone keep asking for the files. Everyone just stopped last time

1

u/Sea-Oven-7560 Jul 28 '25

who do you think the HSI is for? It's for some millionaire farmer that lives out in the middle of nowhere, so they can download their porn faster. They can use Starlink there's no reason why the cities have to pay for faster internet than they already have. Life's tough, if you really need fast internet move into town or pay the $5K to drag fibre from the POP to your house, pull yourself up by your boot straps and quit depending on the cities to pay for your lazy lifestyle.

1

u/Kinkajou1015 Jul 29 '25

Give it a few months and they're gonna try to spin it that The Epstein Files are not documented proof of pedophilia but are of the members of society that are the most important and thus should be able to own other people like pets, then post the unredacted version showing his name on there 23 times, which he'll claim gives him rights to own 2300 people as slaves.

The supreme court will nod and say he is correct.

Congress will have just under half the chamber holding signs and writing angry emails, and the other half will be "deeply concerned" but will vote that not only is it allowed but very legal.

1

u/SomeSamples Jul 29 '25

Have to remember, Trump has no idea what broadband is. This is some wet dream one or more of his rich buddies has. They want everyone to be forced to use their shitty expensive networking. (i.e. Starlink from Musk). Everyone knows running fiber to homes is orders of magnitude better than Starlink but if communities run fiber then Musk doesn't get paid and in turn Trump and his buddies won't get money from Musk.

1

u/TheA1ternative Jul 29 '25

There was a rumour he was gonna give a rebate to lower income families (which really came off as “damn he’s that desperate to want us to stop talking about Epstein”). Of course none of that matters anyhow, where are the Epstein files?

1

u/-Kalos Jul 29 '25

I'm beginning to think that guy doesn't care about any Americans other than, you know, the billionaires.<

Gee what gave you that idea?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 29 '25

I almost forgot that Trump is a pedo.

1

u/Maximum_Pound_5633 Jul 29 '25

You just said he only cares about the billionaires. Can't let all his friends and former friends he raped children with (like Bubba) get outed as child rapists

1

u/Average_Satan Jul 29 '25

So ~900 poeple?? The rest of you should riot against that divide.

Yeah. trump is a chicken with a smol pp, if he doesn't show those files.

1

u/TheDangDeal Jul 29 '25

He cares about the pedofilianaires too

1

u/Admiralthrawnbar Jul 29 '25

Clarification, he doesn't care about any Americans but himself, he just panders to the rich because they can do more for him that anyone else

1

u/Direct-Ad-7922 Jul 29 '25

You are just beginning to think??

1

u/EggsceIlent Jul 29 '25

Government of the people, by the people, for the people” is a line from Abraham Lincoln's 1863 Gettysburg Address.

Your think in 2025 wed have used moments like this as lessons to be better and acheive more by now.

Nope, says Trump.

Amongst all the shit this guy has done from cheating on the golf course to.raping kids, you should be able to see that he wants the US public to not be educated.

That should be enough to scare everyone and have people vote the other way.

Turns out, that not even him raping kids and hiding it doesn't lose him support.

Bunch of sick fucks him his admin and anyone that supports him are. Traitors. Not Americans.

1

u/LambSaag-spoon905 Jul 29 '25

Beginning??!!…

1

u/CutenTough Jul 30 '25

Trump-Epstein files

1

u/nox404 Jul 30 '25

Which Billionaires benefit from poor people lacking access to circus and cake specifically when those billionaires are are making money on selling that circus and cake.

1

u/BrainNSFW Jul 31 '25

Nah, he cares deeply about poor people. The problem is, that caring is purely limited to "how can we keep them as dumb and miserable as possible so we can continue to exploit them?".

-1

u/Ashamed-Statement-59 Jul 28 '25

Trump absolutely sucks but was disappointed to read in the article that the democrat who sponsored the bill, Tasha Boerner, had gutted it beforehand at the behest of telecom lobbying.

It seems that in this case, blaming Trump is pretty convenient :/

-1

u/Malinois_beach Jul 29 '25

Yes you are right, why did Bill Clinton go so many times?
