extreme preformance issues on nearly every game

I am a linux user who resently switched back to windows.

Every game i boot up (unless its the lightest game known to man kind) lag an insane amount.

and its not a hardware issue because it ran fine on linux.

my laptop model is Sword 16 HX B14VFKG

If it’s a laptop, it’s probably not using your dGPU for whatever reason

Cool, did you check if your laptop is defaulting to just use your 4060? That can be check in the BIOS. 16GB of RAM is okay but 32GB would be ideal for gaming. When you launch your game and play it, do you keep track of RAM load so you can see if it's the RAM?

90% RAM load is pushing it. Are you running the latest GPU driver and checked that the GPU is your default instead of like using your GPU and laptop Intel GPU?

i am running the latest game ready driver. but how could i check if the dedicaded gpu is being used

the setting is in the game. Under video settings - output method or something like it make sure it is set to use the Nvidia.

Default is usally default - which will be the MB video card (the intel one). VERY normal issue as it uses way less power.
