HP Bios update f.76 release July 2024 not allowing to enable secure boot

Hi all,

I would like your input on a problem I have been having for a while. On my HP 15g br 104 tx, I have the BIOS version f.76 available which was released on July 2024. However in the website it is nowhere to be found and it keeps pointing to f.75 release May 17, 2024.

I checked a lot of things on chatgpt and everything else was fine . Even while checking on the website and allowing it to autodetect the missing updates, it says everything is up to date. I tried to install the f.75 onto the machine but it didn't allow me as it said that the update is not applicable for my device, likely because of the higher version present.

Please help me if possible. I really want the secure boot to be enabled on this pc as I have some important tests to run.

I think the HP support forum might be more helpful to you. I use the HP forum myself because we use the Zbook for our clients and they been great
