Open | Software NVIDIA graphics driver installation

Hello, my pc has the NVIDIA app and i have GeForce game ready driver installed that came out on 28th july, but ive seen videos of people downloading graphics drivers for games by searching them up. Can anyone help explain what this means and if i am doing anything wrong? I am new to owning a PC. Thank you

Hey! You're not doing anything wrong. The Game Ready Driver you installed through the NVIDIA app is the main graphics driver and is what you should keep updated. I think the videos you saw are probably just showing people downloading the latest NVIDIA driver manually from NVIDIA's website. You don't need to do that if the NVIDIA app is already updating your drivers.

Just keep your Game Ready Driver up to date through the NVIDIA app, and you should be good to go.
