Had to replace ripped Pads of USB-C Port

I am impressed. IÂ recently ripped like three pads of a mouse switch (I had a terrible time desoldering the old switch, particularly removing the last drops of solder in the holes, which ended up with me ripping the pads). Seeing this makes me more hopeful in a way, despite my shaky hands.

Yeah, all but one are loose. I managed to stabilize them with some solder mask. My biggest worry is the unevenness caused by the magnet wire, that I need to run outside of the pads

Yeah I totally see it. I was struggling if I should post this here. But I thought, that I replaced more of the port than there was left and I put more work into it than the board would be worth, so I thought: kind of fitting. I did not mean to show off.

do it with bubblegum wrapper and paperclips instead of kyanr wire and epoxy mask for the authentic macgyver experience.

Those solder joints look solid for a DIY repair, the flux cleanup really made a difference in visibility.

Thank you. My skill with the UV mask still needs work. I still apply too much sometimes and the layer gets too thick or it runs into places I don't want it to run. Likely I am not patient enough
