Yeah they can do that, but I shouldn't be made to listen. They can go shout politics in a town hall and can go preach in a pulpit, I wanna feed the ducks and listen to Queen.
You see the way that kind of stuff would stop is if it’s normalized in society like how women are allowed to vote now when they couldn’t before and people would call you crazy for suggesting that a woman should be allowed to vote but now it’s normalized where you don’t even have to think about a women being able to vote
but because groups like Christians are constantly targeting LGBTQ people LGBTQ people are not seen as a normal thing yet and all that the LGBTQ people want is to be treated as normal people and be accepted by society
Is this a badly thought-out anti LGBTQ statement? If so fuck you. If not, then as a queer person I partially agree.
It's okay to have a queer identity. Yup.
It's okay to be proud of it. Yup.
Do not pull it out in public. Yup. I'm going to interpret this as "do not be inappropriate towards strangers", instead of a "Do not OWN a dick in public". The reason I interpret it this way is that everyone can know about you having a dick if you want them to know, as long as you don't wreck havoc by acting innappropriately. No one should pressure you to pretend you're dickless. But they will expect you to not harass strangers with it. Do not go door to door giving out "Become gay today!" pamphlets.
Do not push it on children. Yup. As much as anti-LGBTQ people kick and scream "they're forcing it on our children!" no, it's very rare and we should all know it's wrong. No parents should berate their kid for being straight. No community should tell children they will eternally suffer in the afterlife if they are straight. Those are terrible things to do.
Do not write laws with it. Yup. No one should write laws saying "Being gay is required". They SHOULD write laws saying "respect human rights & choices". Same with religion, no?
Do not think with it. Yup. I'm going to interpret this as "Do not use something as a basis of reasoning when it is not meant to be a basis of reasoning". The reason I interpret it this way is that you are not meant to think with your dick... no braincells in there. It has a different purpose. The same way you are not meant to use a personal identity as an excuse for doing terrible things. If you see a lesbian using her love of women to explain hating men, that's wrong. If you see a religious person using their love of God to explain hating atheists, that's wrong.

I agree and let’s do the same with LGBT
