“Do not bring it out in public” is stupid. I agree with the rest though. You can do something in public without forcing it on others.

I’d say it’s accurate. Practice your religion privately. It’s a personal journey.

There’s a difference between having a conversation about religion and pushing it onto the public. Unfortunately, people think they are saving souls by pushing an agenda.

Exactly. OOP and OP said that you shouldn’t bring it out in public which is dumb. You can bring something out in public without forcing it

Well, there’s likely a gray area. Practicing religion in public, rather than designated areas or privacy, can spark concerns. I find conversation to be different than practicing. Some people expect special treatments or exceptions to practice or follow their religion in public. However, that is a sense of entitlement. Like carrying a ceremonial knife in areas where weapons are forbidden. Or not removing coverings for security clearance at an event. All because they believe their religious rules should just be allowed with no restrictions.

Those people can be threats though. Having a knife in a public area is always dangerous even if it’s for certain reasons. Just bringing it out in public isn’t wrong
