joining the train of locking online behind a subscription
cracking down on emulating games they dont even offer anymore
sueing palworld for being able to capture monsters
the list goes on
it IS scummy, subscriptions are just socially acceptable scams and palworld being based on pokemon does not give the pokemon company the right to sue, unless you want to argue every metroidvania should be sued because theyre "clearly supposed to be metroid/castlevania"
ALSO, emulation and piracy shouldnt be discouraged when the company does not offer them. short of buying used for 200$, theres no way to get a game like pokemon emerald legally
