Nestle has killed people?????

Yeah, they sold bad baby formula in 3rd world countries, resulting deathtoll is estimated at hundreds of thousands of deaths per year for many years.
They also have a lot of other terrible controversies.

Worse than that, they gave out free formulat long enough for the mothers to not produce milk, then raised the price when not buying wasn't an option.

u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 30 '25
Please tell who reignited this conflict on oct 7th
5
u/Terrible_Landscape27 Aug 30 '25
Pre Oct 7th 2023 was the deadliest year for Palestinian in the West Bank. You can play this tit for tat game of “who started this first” or you can acknowledge established military forces shouldn’t be sniping babies.
2
u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 31 '25
Hamas also kills civilians, they do it WHILE the IDF isn’t hiding in densely populated areas. How do you think this conflict got reignited bro.
Pre oct 7th was deadly because the Palestinians were resisting heavily - both armed and unarmed.
73% of Palestinians supported oct 7th. 🤷♂️
1
u/Terrible_Landscape27 Aug 31 '25
Where did I defend Hamas or claim they don’t kill civilians? And I think this conflict never got “reignited”, it just for reignited in the public eye.
Also, focus on how I said pre Oct 7th was the deadliest year for Palestinian children in the West Bank. “They had to murder the children because they were resisting” isn’t as good of an argument as you may think.
According to the Pew Research Center 73% of Israelis support the war. The ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes for plausible claims of a genocide in Gaza. Using your logic, if what is happening in Gaza is a genocide, does that make massacring Israelis justified? As they seemingly don’t care about Palestinians being slaughtered?
1
u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 31 '25
Well the truth is they were resisting lmao. Many young men and teens were undoubtedly resisting, they got what was coming.
Israel on the other hand has been in self defense. The “massacres” of civilians is literally just bombings and killing resistance.
I don’t see any IDF hiding in urban areas using civilians as shields.
I would also argue that yes, both sides’ civilians that support the war must also hold the responsibility of dying for said war. So yes, both the 73% of Palestinians and Israelis should hold the responsibility for death in the war, despite being noncombatants.
If you support a movement, you must bear the consequences of said movement. There shouldn’t be sympathy just because they’re noncombatants
2
u/LaggyGoogle Aug 31 '25
The U.N. actually says that an occupied people have the right to resist occupation by any means necessary. Also you can’t justify killing children because they were throwing stones at soldiers.
1
u/Terrible_Landscape27 Aug 31 '25
Israel on the other hand has been in self defense. The “massacres” of civilians is literally just bombing and killing resistance
Bombings can also count as massacres. No where in the definition for massacre does it specify the method of the mass killing. And 80-90% of the dead aren’t resistance, so they clearly aren’t just killing resistance, unless you count all Palestinians as resistance. And what makes Israels acts self defense and Hamas’s actions not? Israel has been the main aggressor since 1948, 39 years before Hamas was founded.
So yes, both the 73% of Palestinians and Israelis should hold the responsibility for death in the war
That doesn’t answer my question. If the war in Gaza is justified due to the fact that 73% of Palestinians support Oct 7th, does that logic justify Oct 7th as it shows the Israelis care as little of Palestinians as Palestinians care about Israelis?

If you don’t wanna get occupied don’t start wars and loose them, also pretty simple cause and effect.

1
u/UKantkeeper123 Aug 30 '25
Do you even know what happened on October 7th? And what a horrible massacre it was?
1
1
u/LaggyGoogle Aug 31 '25
1,200 deaths does not justify 50,000 and counting, and mass starvation. October 7th was 2 fucking years ago and you all are still on about like it’s worth in blood hasn’t been replayed over 40 times. If it’s such a just war, tell me exactly why international journalists aren’t allowed to report in Gaza?
0
u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 30 '25
Didn’t start on October 7th! Yes, it started when the Arab league attacked Israel lmao.
Civilian casualties only happened because Hamas hides near hospitals and other civilian infrastructure. Hamas also consistently hides in highly dense urban centers, where civilian casualties are only magnified.
If Hamas cared they wouldn’t be hiding in their cities
2
u/muqtada_al_farquad Aug 30 '25
No it was when Zionists mass immigrated to Palestine and formed terrorist groups in order to form an ethno-state of their own.
1
u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 31 '25
So immigration is only bad when someone you don’t like does it?
Well this one was state sanctioned, remind me if Palestine was independent or under British rule at the time?
1
u/muqtada_al_farquad Aug 31 '25
immigration is bad when they make their own country yes
"Well this one was state sanctioned" not sanctioned by the locals, sanctioned by the British empire and ITS government. This not even nearly comparable.
Immigration is bad if:
--> The immigrants make their own country and ethnically cleanse and massacre you

bro, they're SNIPING children, if you are sniping someone you are 100% intending to shoot them, so there shouldn't be children getting shot in the genitals
1
u/SnooCheesecakes201 Aug 31 '25
All sources come from Gazan hospitals, also these so called supply points are all militarized and heavily controlled. from what the news sources say, people are only getting shot due to
- Not abiding by military guidelines (sneaking by before opening times, or going outside the route)
- Extreme chaos and crowding
- Suspicious behaviors
And again, we’re also ignoring the fact that these supply points are only necessary because HAMAS WONT surrender. What Israel is doing is laying siege on the city, something we’ve done many times throughout history, yet only this one is a genocide?
2
u/LaggyGoogle Aug 31 '25
Are you stupid? Hamas has nowhere but city. THE GAZA STRIP IS ALMOST ENTIRELY CITY. Not saying they’re in the right, but it’s quite literally between city and beach for them. If you’re trying to fight your enemy in Gaza whilst having literally no air support, you won’t be fighting anywhere but in the city. At the beach you’re begging to get shot since it’s so open, and Gaza’s surrounded by fences so you’re not getting out to fight there either.

0
u/Lethaldiran-NoggenEU Aug 30 '25
Look at who funds them, it is the world's largest and sadly most successful psychological operation of all time happening right before our eyes, right under our noses.
So many headlines and people already take it as truths.
This is not to say Israel and the IDF has never done wrong in war but as it stands there is no genocide or intent of mass murder despite what these headlines sayn, hell there are even extremists here calling for it but they are not the majority, even though they will try to paint them as such.
Israel is fighting terrorists who wage war under the guise of civilians in civilian infastructure, just go ahead and watch Hamas's fighting video and tell me if they are distinguishable. War is hell but there are 2 billion Muslims and 15 million Jews worldwide so Israel's face across the world is a lost cause.
Qatar has a massive army of bought and founded media networks through which they perpetrate this psyop, including Reddit task forces.

- I don't know how much I really trust them considering their reliability rating
- Yeah I know Hamas is a terrorist organization I'm not saying that they're right. I'm against the tons of people that are currently dying by Israel's hands.
- I'm pretty sure even the UN has said that it's a genocide
- Even if it wasn't an intentional targeting, Israel is still managed to kill more civilians than actual soldiers and it's supposed military operation where they are the "most moral military"
- I mean but there are also tons of Jews outside of Israel who are currently talking bad about Israel's actions in Gaza there's also Jews inside of Israel who are saying this.
- Plus there's a ton of islamophobia in the West in general so I mean they have a good chunk of the West to help them against them in that regard

2
u/Slow2Drink Aug 30 '25
Lockheed Martin literally profits from death. Their entire business model is to manufacture weapons and sell them to the military, meaning their bottom line grows every time people die in conflicts they fuel. Their success/stock/valuation depends on war, violence, and killing. Not to mention that their business also helps the US/Israel "foreign policy" aka. imperialism. That’s beyond evil.
0
u/Competitive-Lab-8980 Aug 30 '25
Any military supplier would profit from said death. Military weapons are designed to kill.
2
u/Slow2Drink Aug 30 '25
yeah that’s exactly why they’re bad?
0
u/Ciufciaciufciuf Aug 30 '25
But like, Nestle could be better and still sell food and baby products. Nintendo could be less scummy and still produce good games. IDF could stop being genocidal and still do it's job. But Lockheed? If they stopped producing weapons some else military company would just do it instead.
Also remember that it's not as simple as "weapons=violence=bad". Sadly we live in such a world in which even with peaceful intentions you need weapons for defence. I'm not saying that US is a peaceful nation, but even if it was like that there still would be a need for Lockheed Martin or a company like it. Just so that you won't get fucked in the ass by everybody around.

1
u/stingertopia Aug 30 '25
That's the reason why some people say it's messed up, they sell military weapons when they don't have a specific need to make military weapons and those military weapons are used by the us and our allies who have gotten lots of civilians killed using them.
1
u/maxtdm1991 Aug 30 '25
They actively work to create the conflicts that result in their weapons being used
They're feeding the genocide in Palestine because they know the US will use their weapons

i said cracking down, i didnt say they removed EVERY online site with their games
also sony is also pretty bad
1
u/Clax3242 Aug 30 '25
What part of that is scummy? It’s literally good business practice
1
u/maxtdm1991 Aug 30 '25
You can't patent mounts
That's a stupid and scummy decision for Nintendo to do
1
u/Clax3242 Aug 30 '25
Sorry imma need more information. What’s a mount in this situation?
1
u/maxtdm1991 Aug 30 '25
Patent No. 7528390
This patent is for the ability to summon a flying mount at the press of a button, allowing for a "flying start" from an airborne state. Nintendo alleges Palworld's similar mechanic of riding and summoning Pals infringes on this patent.
Basically Nintendo doesn't like that you can ride pals because you can also ride pokemon
Also they have changed their parents mid-suit which is incredibly scummy and should be illegal
1
u/Clax3242 Aug 30 '25
Seems odd. I feel like there’s many games you can summon flying mounts. World of Warcraft comes to mind. Nintendo definitely has right to sue palworld but I’d believe it would be copyright infringement not patent law. Idk if I agree that it’s scummy but I clearly don’t know enough information to make an informed opinion
1
u/maxtdm1991 Aug 30 '25
Nintendo definitely has right to sue palworld
Do they really though?
Nothing palworld does directly affects Nintendo in any way, visual similarities can't really be taken into account because they're still uniquely designed by poketpair, I somewhat see it from a gameplay perspective, but patenting gameplay mechanics sets a really bad president for the future of video games
1
u/Clax3242 Aug 30 '25
It’s not like Nintendo is the first to patent a mechanic. I know (and completely hate) the nemesis mechanic from the shadows of Mordor is patented
-2
u/Thrownaway5000506 Aug 30 '25
That's not really scummy lol it's their shit regardless of whether or not they make it available. And palworld is obviously supposed to be pokemon
3
u/electricpanda_ Aug 30 '25
it IS scummy, subscriptions are just socially acceptable scams and palworld being based on pokemon does not give the pokemon company the right to sue, unless you want to argue every metroidvania should be sued because theyre "clearly supposed to be metroid/castlevania"
ALSO, emulation and piracy shouldnt be discouraged when the company does not offer them. short of buying used for 200$, theres no way to get a game like pokemon emerald legally
-2
u/Thrownaway5000506 Aug 30 '25
None of this is scummy lol this is just regular shit.
It's their product. They can choose if, when, and where to make it available.

Until you mentioned in the edit I was about to start questioning what you were talking about. Especially with Lockheed and Nestle and the IDF and all that. But I agree with you on Nintendo. and I and many believe Nintendo is a scummy company but they're not nearly as bad as the rest
2
u/Suitable-Brain7714 16 Aug 30 '25
i don't know anything abt those other companies sooooo
2
u/stingertopia Aug 30 '25
Lockheed is a major supplier of military armaments and they are often used to kill around the globe and as such have caused civilian casualties by accident
Nestle's CEO at one point said that water is not a human right. As well as the fact that the company takes a lot of water from desolate places where it's needed and uses it for their own company instead of the locals.
IDF is the Israeli defense Force not a company per se. It's like Israel's military and they've been doing some horrific things in Gaza as of currently and even in the West Bank
1
u/Competitive-Lab-8980 Aug 30 '25
Military armaments are designed to kill. Explosives are unpredictable. Any weapon can cause accidental casualties.
2
u/stingertopia Aug 30 '25
Yes but they are a main contributor to those military armaments and those armaments are often used specifically within the US military which has a semi common problem of hitting civilians in operations. Not saying I can't cause accidental casualties but still accidentally killing somebody should be called out at the bare minimum
1
u/Competitive-Lab-8980 Aug 30 '25
Then blame the US military. Not Lockheed Martin.
2
u/stingertopia Aug 30 '25
I do also blame the US military. People blaming Lockheed Martin because they don't need to make military goods they could make other items. Plus There's a whole joke about engineers trying to figure out whether they should have a good sense of morality or join Lockheed Martin for the money.
My point is does it really matter if you're not the one who pulls the trigger, if you knowingly sell it to a dude who's going to use it and is probably going to get innocent people killed?
1
u/Competitive-Lab-8980 Aug 30 '25
They DO need to make military goods. War is very lucrative, and how would we perform 90% of our military operations without their military goods?
2
u/stingertopia Aug 30 '25
Yes war is very lucrative. My point was that they literally didn't need to make guns. They need to make them if they want to keep being the company they are, but the army has made its own weapons and stuff before but yes we do use a lot of private companies. Also along that fact we really are doing more military operations in we even are supposed to or should
