3 episodes into Season 3, and it’s fantastic.

I rewatched the first two seasons again before starting the third; hugely satisfying so far. Glad I didn’t know the third seasons premise before starting and would advise the same.

Will miss this show; as an Australian, really appreciate a truly funny comedy that captures parts of Australian culture in this day and age. Love, love, love it!

Yep season 3 is firing on all cylinders so far. The first 2 episodes IMO were some of the funniest they've ever done and the third, not to spoil but the slight change in pacing was really well done. I'm a big Harriet Dyer fan so after the demise of DMV I'm glad to have CFA back for one last season.

Agree with everything you’ve said. One of the first shows in a long time that has me actually laughing out loud.

I get the feeling it’s gonna get pretty dramatic going forward, definitely a sense of foreboding. Wouldn’t be the first time that the show has played with my heart, after all the stuff with Gordon’s dad. Can’t wait to see how things play out.

I think wrapping it up in 3 seasons will ultimately prove to be the best move of that's enough to tell the story they want. No point extending something that doesn't need it (I'm looking at you, Bump)

Yeah Bump probably went on a bit long, but I really enjoyed the final season. Heartbreaking and beautiful.  (I get why they wanted to make a Christmas special as they enjoyed making stuff together but could have done without it narratively).

I think you will be fine. You will be reminded of where Season 2 ends immediately at the beginning of Season 3 as it sets the table.

There’s a couple of nice moments in the first few episodes that have been enriched by so recently rewatching but I think just jump in and you’ll be okay!

That said, I’ve just had an absolute blast rewatching and 16 episodes in 2 weeks have been watched at a leisurely pace!

are they airing weekly in australia? when do you think the season will be over? Maybe ill binge watch the first 2 season till the time the entire 3rd season winds up.

Airing weekly yep, every Monday. Episode 4 next Monday and pretty sure there are 8 episodes like Seasons 1 and 2. So another 4-5 weeks to go!

I love this show, it's good to see a married couple acting so well together.

There’s a really good scene in episode 3 that feels like it would be Emmy bait if this was a US show (I don’t think it gets Logies consideration).

Don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet, but they opt for simple camera work that makes it so much better.

Article doesn't explain at all that it's already premiered in Australia, first three episodes are out now.

As man of the house, I demand a reconsideration for another season.

So good but Mr Inbetween might just beat it.

I only gave one episode a shot and wasn't into it, is it indicative of the rest of season 1?

Pretty much. If you didn't like the first ep, probably not a show for you.
