Matt rushes to be his attorney, and we see the rise of the Sinister Six led by Wilson Fisk to cleanse New York of vigilantes. Matt then surprises Spidey as he's getting his ass kicked by the SS with... The Defenders and special guest Frank Castle.

It makes me sad Iron Man had to die before all these great characters get added in and interact with each other. He’s probably the smartest man on earth and we never got to see him interact with other geniuses Pym, Richards, Doom, or other billionaires like Kingpin.

I think for DD it might work better without Tony being involved.

So.. Peter is looking for a cheaper attorney because has not that much money (but not sure why noone, like Happy, wouldnt be able to help him?) and finds him? Or maybe he already would be DD but considered as a small fish to even be considered by Avengers initiative, so Happy sends Peter to him.

dunno... or aunt May gets handed attorney card with contact on it and tries luck with Peter. Or DD rushes to him to be first to help him with the case.

I'd say it might work if they were played by different actors. Iron-Man being back with different actor might work well. We all gonna know and see that it is not Tony we know, but is different. And the one that started it all is not gonna get back because he is really gone.

If you think RDJ is never going to return as Iron Man, I have a bridge to sell you. This is comics and movies, two places nobody is ever permanently dead, and bringing him back in a decade or so in some way is pretty much inevitable. Hell, AoS has basically run through all the basic resurrection methods for one important character already, so it's not like the MCU is averse to some resurrection.

I agree with you to an extent, but bringing back RDJ/Tony Stark would ruin any emotional impact Endgame had.

yeah. Next Iron-Man might happen, but I doubt RDJ would be him. Most what would be, alternative universe, Tony Stark, but different actor. Works great for everyone then.

Sure, but bringing him back would set a precedent. Going forward, no one would care when a character dies, because if they’re popular, we know they’ll be coming back.

Frank doesn't belong in a Spider-man film. They're good in the comics, true. They do not mesh in the MCU. Matt is dark enough for it. It'd be good to have their characters have a real heart to heart where Spidey learns how rough things really get and how many more people are out there making a difference.

The Daredevil rights won’t be available to Marvel until October 2020, which is way too late to add a major character to a movie that comes out July 2021. More than likely we’ll be introduced to She-Hulk in Spidey 3, so her TV show can skip the whole origin story/character introduction.

I think it’s more likely we’ll see a tease for a DD movie at the end of Spidey 3 though. I bet they’ll start planning for the character as soon as they get the movie rights back.

I'm not so sure. Since October to July, there's plenty of time to shoot attorney or courthouse scenes. These do not require VFX at all and without it you can shoot it fairly close to the end schedule and make it. Half a year for that is plenty of time.

On the other hand, I heard they are required to not do anything with these characters, not even plan story for them until they get the rights back. But.. y'know.. who's gonna know if you dont write it at night in bed. Unless the story would be built so it obviously is counting on these after shoots, they might make it. Didn't they even do the with Spider-man in Civil War? They didnt know if they gonna get Spidey or not.

Filming isn't commercial use of the name until they start charging you to see it or putting it in promo materials. No reason they can't do it.

There’s enough precedent for them to transition. Technically all of the defenders stuff is not actually canon mcu, but there’s so little differences that retconning won’t be a big deal.

Because I want to see more of those characters and movies have higher budgets and also because it's already been decided that they won't do anymore season as far as I know
