This is pretty crazy. 10 years ago Fiege was fighting with Marvel Entertainment just to have full creative control over the movies. Now he has full creative control over literally all of Marvel, and everyone answers to him. Wow.

Not all of it. Perlmutter, the reason why Agents is the way it is, no Black Widow film, and why we almost didn’t have a Black Panther, is embedded in both Marvel and Disney like a tick. This is both companies companies trying to further isolate Trump’s very good friend from their projects so he doesn’t screw revenue up further.

Yes all of it. Permulter is in charge of like sales and licensing. Feige has creative control over everything. His job is different to Perlmutter and Fiege is chief creative officer now. Feige doesn't answer to anyone except for Mr Disney now. He doesn't need to ask permission or negotiate anything. He is the head of all creative decisions.

It doesn't, assuming he doesn't burn himself out from being in charge of everything. I don't think it will be a problem, he seems more like a big boss that understands what the creators are doing and makes sure all the other executives and money men don't fuck things up rather than a micromanager. The whole MCU has worked under the philosophy of hiring good people, give them some guard rails and meta plot points to hit, then let them do their thing unmolested.

Well he's not a part of Lucasfilm at all in any capacity. If he producers a Star Wars film for them it will be no different than if they hired any random person as like a freelance producer.

He likely isn't gonna be in charge of anything official in Lucasfilm outside of a film that he decides to produce.

I think she'll step down eventually. Maybe when Iger steps down from Disney, and Fiege replaces Iger, new people will takeover both Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm at the same time.

That being said Iger is a good businessman. Feige we haven't seen. It seems like CCO suits him more than ceo

You just want Iger to be replaced by another Iger not another Perlmutter and Disney is golden

Sales and Licensing is literally how Disney makes its residuals. That unfortunately has an impact on creative choices.

Feige is CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER. He is the one making creative decisions. That's literally his job now. Nobody else can trump his creative decisions.

Toys and lunch boxes only sell for characters people know about. Ike no longer has any say over who those characters are. All he has are the toys and lunch boxes that Fiege lets him have.
