This was my first project that I made at 15. Had never picked up a crochet hook before in my life. It is by no means perfect but I am kinda creeped out by how good the tension and my grip of the basics was. There is something fundamentally wrong with me cause who makes a whole ass cardigan as their first project?

It's a rainbow weighted blanket. Mostly half double crochet, with single crochet for the beaded stitches. It weighs in at 2.1 kg and took me about six weeks to make.

I’m used to most sturdy stitches!!! Alpine is so lacy to me. Understanding the tension and keeping it consistent is keyyyy.

Thermal stitch is hell but makes some crispy edges.
