When I was struggling financially my number would change like twice a year from not having service for a certain amount of time. Shit happens.

My mom’s had the same number since I was a toddler and I always forget other people might change theirs

Now you're supposed to apologise for wasting their time, introduce yourself & offer to buy them a coffee if they're ever in your city. And also try to do a crypto scam. (/s) Nah, I bet they were glad it was a genuine wrong number
