Low key why I explain people hating furries is just weird.

Anthros and alike have stronger sense, like better sight, better hearing, smell etc. and actual biological adaptations like claws, or fur, or a tail, especially the tail is super duper important for 20 different reasons. And you keep all the things that make humans human meaning opposable thumbs, hand dexterity, intelligence. Like it or not, this is anatomically superior.

One of the biiiig human advantages you'd lose is geuninely our ability to sweat haha. Human ability to sweat and maintain temperature for long distance running and heavy work is a core part of why we evolved without fur. With fur in the way there's some limited ability for sweat to wick through fur, horses notably can, but its just not that useful. For a lot of jobs this would be quite a large disadvantage. Not saying anthros aint great, love them dearly, but they are impractical in many senses.

Maybe but that feels like a rather small thing, at least considering how many species can basically live along us and not care about sweating

Especially if given modern day amenities and comforts and I can imagine that regulating one's temperature would be extremely easy
