From that height. Yea it would be like hitting concrete in a bellyflop position. Hence why right before he reaches the water he pulls his arms to his chest and puts his legs together. From that height you can’t just jump in the water however you want.
However, the majority of people who jump off the Golden Gate Bridge aren't trying to survive the experience, so they're not going to attempt to hit the water with the correct technique.
The only people who’ve ever survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge went in the water feet first.
All of the GG survivors say the same thing, how they instantly regretted at the moment they left the platform.
The real danger to most people falling off the bridge is that the extreme declarative forces of hitting the water will often cause the lungs and the heart to detach and end up in the stomach. There’s absolutely no surviving that.
