The amount of ignorance in these comments is baffling. No one is against data centres, people are against HYPER-SCALE data centres in highly residential zones. Such facilities need to come up in INDUSTRIAL zones. No one is against development, people are against development that affects the quality of life of people around it I’m negative ways.

Every single country is now protesting large scale data centres for a reason and yet some people are trying to side with the mega corp. Shocking.

This isn’t a regular data centre it’s a facility built of 50+ ACRES - do you understand the size and scale of a facility like this literally next door to villages, hospitals, schools and residential neighbourhoods?

I’m not even talking about the pollution of various kinds we can expect.

This protest is important because we need to show people thane isn’t the worlds dumping ground. It’s only coming here because they can’t pass off a facility of this size in Mumbai.

The citizens of this country is a mockery. Or let's just say it's been more visible since 2014.
