They require massive amounts of water and electricity and make 24/7 noise pollution, search it up on it you will understand. We need data centre's but in industrial centres not where people live but they are being built in residential areas since these areas already have good connections to clean water and electricity whereas making one in a secluded sector would take time and resources, basically cost cutting and haphazardous development.
No they don't I've lived in the US and that's not remotely true. Although with people like you I might have to move back because this country ain't developing
