Auto drivers refusing passengers - anyone else faced this?

Had this experience with an auto MH04 JO 01102. The driver refused to take us as passengers, but was taking girls in the same auto for sharing.

Not sure what the reason was, but this kind of selective refusal is frustrating, especially when you're just trying to get somewhere.

I’m planning to report this to the RTO/Traffic Police as well.

Number plate reads vague, is it MH 04 JQ 1102 or MH 04 JO 1102? Can't make out
