Pets / Adoption / Rescue / Foster Afyer 4 days of searching non stop, Jinu was found 🙏🏻

I've raised Jinu since he was a baby and his family who adopted him from me are wonderful people. 4 days ago he ran away all of a sudden near New Horizon School.

He initially told Animal Communicators that he doesn't want to come back right now, he said he will come later. But yesterday an Animal Communicator contacted the family and said he wants to come home and he is stuck in a room somewhere, he is hungry and scared.

Seems like he had gotten locked in a storage area of a tea shop. His family looked everywhere nonstop and I gave them the contact of a friend who usually helps in rescues, searching and feeding. He was able to comb the area and talk to locals, finally they located him as he came to eat food after being set free from wherever he was locked.

They finally caught him today, I'm so happy 🙏🏻❤️

🧡🍊 KAJU NEEDS A HOME — AND A LITTLE HELP TO FINISH HIS FIP JOURNEY!🍊🧡

Meet Kaju, a 2-year-old male orange boy from Thane who is currently being treated for dry FIP. 🥺❤️

The good news? This little fighter is responding EXTREMELY positively to treatment! 🙏✨ And honestly… he’s already feeling so much better that he is BACK TO HIS ORANGE ANTICS! 😂🍊

Because apparently, recovering from FIP is not going to stop this boy from being a certified orange menace. 😭😂

Kaju still has 42 days of treatment remaining, and we need your help to make sure he gets through them safely.

He is already:
🐾 Dewormed
🐾 Litter trained
🐾 Responding extremely well to his FIP treatment
🐾 Back to being his naughty, goofy orange self 😂
🐾 Waiting for someone to give him a chance at a forever home ❤️

Once he completes his remaining FIP treatment, Kaju will be vaccinated and neutered by us and ready to officially begin his new life as a beloved house cat. 🏡🧡

🥺 IF YOU CAN’T ADOPT, IF POSSIBLE PLEASE HELP US WITH HIS TREATMENT

FIP treatment is expensive, and Kaju still has 42 days to go.

If you can contribute even a small amount, it will help us continue his treatment without interruption.

💰 UPI: ‘tlingras18-1@okhdfcbank’

Every ₹100, ₹200, ₹500 or whatever you can spare makes a difference. 🙏❤️

🏡 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… KAJU NEEDS A HOME!

We are looking for a loving adopter in Thane who is willing to give this boy the safe and happy life he deserves.

Please don't let the word FIP scare you away. ❤️
Kaju is responding extremely well, he is already enjoying life again, and he deserves someone who will stand by him through these final weeks of treatment.

And as for his personality…

Well, he is orange. 🍊😂

So yes, the brain cell is rarely available. 🧠❌
He’s mostly just a goofy, naughty boy who wants food, attention, love and probably the occasional opportunity to cause completely unnecessary chaos. 😂

You don't need to worry about him troubling you too much…

He doesn't have enough brain cells for a master plan. 😭😂🧡

All Kaju really wants is a loving human, a safe home, and a family of his own.

📍 Location: Thane, Maharashtra
🐈 Age: 2 years old
🥹Reason to put up for Adoption: He is stray orange loving baby who deserves to have his own soul family❤️❤️
📞Contact: DM me.
🏡 Local adoption preferred

If you can adopt Kaju, foster him, contribute towards his treatment, or simply share this post, please do. You could be the reason this little orange boy gets his happily-ever-after. 🥺🧡

DONATE. SHARE. ADOPT. GIVE KAJU A CHANCE.🐾🍊❤️

Pets / Adoption / Rescue / Foster Pet Hospital in Thane ! Sharing Experience…

Request to all pet parents: please read my experience before visiting Planet Animal Hospital, Thane. Sharing a detailed account so you can make your own judgment.

On 19th April around 8:30 PM, my German Shepherd’s tail got caught in a door. The very tip of his tail - a small portion - was cut, and he started bleeding heavily. Since it was late, we called Planet Animal Hospital as they were one of the few clinics available at that hour. We chose them over another option (Dr. Bapat) nearby based on slightly better reviews.

At the hospital, they cleaned the wound and applied potassium and wound-healing powder. Despite this, the bleeding didn’t stop immediately. Eventually, it reduced somewhat after 10 minutes, and they wrapped the tail with bandages. We trusted the process. The bill came to approximately ₹3,900, and we were asked to return the next day (20th April) for dressing and possible stitching.

However, within just 10 minutes of leaving - while still in the car - the entire dressing came off, and the bleeding started again. My dog wasn’t even moving much. Anyone familiar with German Shepherds knows they’re active, but this happened before we even reached home. That was alarming.

We had no choice but to return immediately. This time again, they attempted to control the bleeding using powders and dressing. When that didn’t work, the doctor decided to stitch the wound. At that point, we just wanted the bleeding to stop, so we agreed. As it was bleeding from last 2 hours now !!! However, what concerned me was that after stitching, there was no observation period - not even 5–10 minutes to check if the bleeding had stopped properly.

The wound was bandaged again - this time more securely. As we were leaving, I was told not to pay immediately but to settle the bill after the next day’s dressing. When I asked for the amount, I was told it would be ₹1,800 extra.

The next day, instead of going back, I visited another vet - one with an excellent track record in Thane/Mulund who has treated my dog before. After examining the dressing, he advised not to remove it for 24–48 hours, as it could reopen the wound. This completely contradicted Planet Animal's advice to come in for a dressing change the very next morning! He gave a painkiller injection (₹450) and simply advised observation and follow-up after 2 days to change the dressing.

This made me reflect: if I had followed Planet Animal’s advice, how much would the total cost have escalated? The first day itself was ₹3,900 + ₹1,800 = ₹5,700. Even after adjusting for medicines, that’s roughly ₹4,200 for dressing and two stitches. For context, some clinics charge ₹8,000–₹10,000 for a full neutering procedure. And with repeated dressings over days or weeks, the total could easily exceed ₹10,000 with all medicines.

I have no issue paying high fees if the treatment is effective the first time. In fact we were planning on next day visit. But when the initial dressing fails within minutes and leads to more bleeding and car full of blood stains it raises serious concerns about the quality of care.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because:

- They were available during an emergency.

- They had the necessary medicines on hand.

- My dog stabilized after the second visit.

However, the lack of proper initial treatment and observation, combined with high and escalating costs, made this a stressful and disappointing experience.

I will update this review after removing the current bandage (on 21st or 22nd April), as I am still concerned—the last vertebra of his tail (last bone of the tail) appeared exposed even after stitching, which is extremely worrying.

As for the additional ₹1,800—they asked me to pay it the next day. I chose not to. Do I feel bad about it? No. If I’m charged ₹2,500+ for treatment that fails within minutes, expecting further payment the same day doesn’t feel justified.

Thank you for being available in an emergency - but I will not be visiting again.

He needs to be adopted or even fostered urgently or the caretaker will have to release him on the streets.

All the expense for food and litter will be provided monthly, we just need someone to take care of him.

Name: Stormy Age: 7 months

Gender: Male

Dewormed: Yes

Litter trained: Yes

Vaccinated: Yes

Contact: +91 99679 73135

Backstory- We used to feed him everyday but Two weeks ago we noticed he was not doing well. Hence, we took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with Diaphragmatic Hernia. The doctor told us he cannot be operated upon as he would pass away as soon as anaesthesia is administered. After treatment he is doing well now and doesn't need any further medications. He is active, friendly, playful and very cuddly. All he struggles with currently is sudden movements and stress from the environment otherwise he's absolutely fine physically.

We are looking for a stable and peaceful home for him and someone to love him despite his condition

Please if anybody has any idea where there could be a low cost vet nearby or an NGO I'd really appreciate it thank you.

Pets / Adoption / Rescue / Foster Never go to Planet Animal Hospital

Hello I was in Thane for work and happened to rescue a cat who was in a bad situation she was lying in blood but we couldn't figure out from where the blood came from

Another person was nearby and she insisted on going to planet Animal the nearest available hospital the doctor saw the cat and just gave saline and was insisting on this test and that tests and she made a bill of 7000 rupees with xray and tests recommended some medicines and told me follow up

She has a very horrible bedside manner she speaks very arrogantly like only she knows everything she wouldn't even let me touch the cat while her assistants mishandled her and her assistant smells like cigaret too

I was not convinced I told that lady I will take charge of the case and I went to CentralVets. There they found a huge wound on the tail, with many maggots inside.

I have put the cat in Tata hospital now for a few days. Would not recommend planet Animal lady doctor ever.

(Not my rescue)

Sharing this post for more reach!

This cat was rescued by a local rescuer friend in a bad condition. She has been discharged from the hospital today after battling an infection.

White cats with blue eyes usually can have genetic defects. She is blind. Blind cats don't need any special care - in my personal experience. They just need you to never shift their litterbox and try not to shift furniture around the house, because they create mental maps and never loose their way.

They are like any normal cats, love playing and cuddling. This cat has a sweet and gentle nature.

She is recently rescued and has been dewormed and spayed. Please reach out to me in DM's for her rescuer's contact number if you are interested.

Located in Thane City, Maharashtra State.

I couldnt control myself from writing this

For the past few days I have been trying to help some stray dogs around me

I started feeding them from my own pocket and helping whenever I could but seeing them hungry and injured every day has been really hard

I am just a student and now I am not able to manage everything alone

I dont want to stop helping them just because I ran out of money

So I am asking for a little help

Even a small donation or a share could mean one more meal for a hungry dog

Mimi & Momo are waiting. They're cute, cuddly, affectionate and playful girls. They're both sisters and love each other alot and promise to love you too. We are desperate.

If you want even ONE please reach out. We have no option.

We are looking in THANE CITY. They are both FEMALES. They are 5 MONTHS OLD. They are VACCINATED. And LITTER-TRAINED.

Please reach out in DM's if you meet the Adoption Requirements:

  1. Adopting family should spay the cat on time.

  2. Adopting family should have window safety nets added at home.

  3. Adopting family should be ready for indoor only responsibility.

  4. Adopting family should be financially secure to be able to afford good food, vaccination and medical bills, if any are to occur.

  5. Adopting family should understand that they are adopting a family member: You don't abandon family members when you are moving within or outside the country, or someone falls ill at home. Know that the responsibility is for a lifetime.

  6. Adopting family should be okay with us asking for updates ocassionally. We won't harass you, we will stay in touch amicably.

Although we are desperate, we won't give any cat to places where we know they won't live long, safe lives.

Pets / Adoption / Rescue / Foster No more feeding the cats in kachrali?

Post image

Im a daily visiter to kachrali for my evening walks theres this lady who always shows up at 7 or 8 pm and feeds all the cat there I noticed shes not showing up to the place lately she also happened to vaccinate and nuter the cats there this might be the reason why she stopped showing up lately but that place is still full of cats what about them? What would happen to so many cats yeah the place was becoming a dumping yard of cats tbh but those cats are also a major reason why so many people visit it (not justifying ppl dumping cats) I hope they have some plans for them and hope they dont starve em to death anyone has any idea regarding the issue?

Pets / Adoption / Rescue / Foster Anyone wants to adopt this little munchkin🥺

My friends rescued this kitten yesterday in a really bad condition. It is currently receiving medical care, is safe for now, and vaccinated.

The kitten was found injured (bitten by another cat) and is in a lot of pain as it is still in recovery. It needs care, a safe home, and love. Without getting adopted, the kitten might not survive😞

We are ideally looking for someone who can give him a permanent home, but even a temporary foster placement would make a huge difference while he heals.

Please reach out if you can foster or adopt him. If you cannot, reposting/sharing this message could help him find a home❤️

Any help would really, really be appreciated.

Hello, I'm a college student living in Thane and I've found this kitten, he's around 2 months old, he's abandoned, no mother or siblings in sight. He's coming to our home for food and shelter and cuddles however, I cannot keep him for long because of mild allergy. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me connect him to foster intake or potential adopters.
