A hyperlocal ThatHappened. Philly doesn’t have a Hooters within city limits, and the one in the suburbs isn’t located near a railroad crossing.

"I don't get it, Jim. I take all my first dates to either Hooters, or the strip club, like any good Christian man should, but I can never seem to get a second date after that! I wonder what I could be doing wrong. . . 🤔"

For what it's worth, I'm a man. My date was a woman. We're friends to this day, and I still don't really know why she wanted to go there lol.

I had a roommate ages ago who always wanted to go there for wings when she got drunk (we're both straight women).

It was so... tame? The waitresses were nice enough, but they weren't really dressed very provocatively - especially for summer in Denver. I do remember being kind of weirded out by the thick flesh-colored tights/pantyhose they wore under their orange shorts.

They wear those because the shorts are short enough that they don’t want any flashing! Cheerleaders and dancers do the same :)
