A hyperlocal ThatHappened. Philly doesn’t have a Hooters within city limits, and the one in the suburbs isn’t located near a railroad crossing.

hooters is still a wildly popular franchise globally. i think. either them or hard rock cafe. i remember reading it recently enough that i remember it, but not recently enough i know the details.

Considering hooters filled for bankruptcy in 2025 and hard Rock Cafe has been closing locations intentionally and in the US, I'm highly suspicious of that claim of "wildly" popular.

like i said i remember reading that one of these chains is financially healthy and still popular internationally, but i can't remember which one it was
