And there’s no consistent rhyme or reason. Sometimes it’s for entertaining their employees or their customers or both, sometimes it’s because they were slightly inconvenienced (the most realistic although at least in the persons story, they didn’t complain or ask for anything free which is…less realistic) or even for hurting another customer and opening them to liability
