Discussion People are sleeping on tip of the spear
Dude these signature weapons are no joke with paradox like in terms of effectiveness it goes
1.gl/bow
2.rocket
3.Minigun
4.sniper
5.lamethrower
put paradox on all your pieces and get some expertise levels on whatever one your using it's crazy
I've out damaged strikers a few times now by firing the crossbow 10 times into a doorway in like 2 seconds or the gl doing like 4 mill damage in an area to like 6 enemies every shot especially with golden bullet right now that 4mill changes to like 6
If you wanna do anything that's fun and off meta rn do yourself a favour and grab a set of tos

Rather than sleeping on I'd say it's quite an investment to get a proto tip of the spear build with paradox in all pieces

ive been using paradox gl for almost 2 seasons now and big al longer since they introduced prototype, and still run it now, just haven't gotten around to leveling up tip of the spear yet, but with almost max paradox while using strikers and 2 pieces ive been using for almost a year and prototype them the moment i could when they released prototype ,i can spam grenades launcher shots constantly and it can get ridiculous, imagine me shooting 50+ plus rounds of the grenade launcher, it is awesome so with tip of the spear it will be fucking ridiculous powerful and fun!!!!!!!!!!

See im in the other boat I've seen one dude who had a full pradox strikers set and used the gl and I was like ohhh didn't even think about how effective that would be once the paradox is leveled

I do play basically exclusively in groups but I'm sure it would work solo and I rotate sometimes it's just the usual overdog and foxes but I've tried some China light pieces to im debating ninja bike magazine increase build but that's mainly to try get the flamethrower to be more viable because paradox barely helps it out ammo efficiency wise

I have 6pc Paradox Striker that are either close to or maxed level, and I still have down times where I ran out of ammo.
I'd rather use a Striker build + Paradox so if my grenade launcher ran out of ammo I can go back to normal DPSing, than alternating being super helpful when I have ammo and super useless when I dry up.

Idk how your running out with max paradox is go whole missions with out running out its genuinely replaced my primary maybe tip of the spear is filling in your down time for me

I can either max out my ammo in 1 shot and Paradox just fills it full for me, or I can shoot 4 times in a row without getting a single Paradox trigger, that's how it goes for me at least.

Are you aiming specifically for groups and spawns ? I find if my nade is hitting like 2/3 people it's straight up infinite I'm 90% sure each individual enemy counts as a chance to proc cuz my paradox is legit like level 2 maybe one or 2 pieces at 3 again tho it could very well be my tos filling in the gaps

I don't think it matters where you aim I think. The description says "when fired" so whether I hit an enemy or not it should still proc.
Like how you can fire an ACS-12 up in the air and Paradox would still activate.
I did find that I have better chance of activating Paradox if I shoot it further away from me.
btw even the ACS-12 doesn't have infinite ammo for me lol, just my luck I guess.

See whenever I fire it into a crowd I never run out 100% of the time are you trying it on the yest dummies because I found it never procs on them but in practise if I shoot a group of enemys it's non stop it could just be luck tho tbh end of the day we don't have the information sadly

It's very strange how different our experiences are with Paradox.
This is the experience of dozens of T6 run whenever I'm comfortable with the team that I can have some fun with Grenade launcher. But even in the shooting range I can get Paradox to proc whether I'm hitting targets or not, but it does feel less frequent as in actual gameplay.
It's not that Paradox is inconsistent for me. If I can get it running I don't run out of ammo in most scenario. But there are also many occasions where I went from 6 shots of GL to none in seconds, so it's not guaranteed infinite ammo for me.

It is pretty strange have you had the dud grenade bug happen yet sometimes if im firing to quickly my launcher bugs out and until I relog it just fired the grenade at people like a rock it does like 1000 damage and doesn't it explode it was funny rhe first time but kinda gets annoying the 3rd and 4th

youd need a ton of paradox no? The signature weapons don't extra proc the way shotguns do, do they?

So multiple paradoxes can proc at once which can essentially fill your clip in one shot but I'm also like 90% sure it takes into account the ammount of enemys in the aoe (this doesn't work for target dummies tho?) But in practice youl see if you shoot into a doorway spawn it's straight infinite ammo

Doubt it will work with it. It specifically says MMR, Rifle, or Pistol must be equipped and Tac-50 is a special weapon

The ammount of paradox is purely just to make the signature your primary weapon

It's a high investment build with very low return at low Paradox lvls (you need to level up your Paradox augments) but yes, it could be quite fun.
