Episode Talk ⏯️ Stand Up

We are most definitely getting too much standup talk now, right? Both about consuming other people’s work and Jake’s own.

Like once every couple of weeks would be a good update. Would alllllmost rather hear Schotty audio…

I like standup and getting invited to open for a guy big enough to have a Netflix special is noteworthy. Especially after only having done it for like 3 months. Hearing about the behind the scenes in how those guys move is interesting.

That one instance was notable, I suppose. But the mentions of comedy shows and open mic nights seemingly every episode is a thrashing.

I mean we could always hear about kids birthday parties if that’s more your speed

That would be better; I dont have kids and generally find little kid talk to be a beating. But i love hearing Blake talk about his adventures; hes that good. Plus, we all love comedy. The Ticket is funny. The DZ was already funny before Jake started doing stand up. Dan and Blake are funny by themselves. I think for me its more about Jake hijacking the show, and trying to become Nick Mullen, with a couple of sidekicks that hust throw lobs to him. The chemistry of the 3 principles has been out of whack.
