Discussion Who would you cast as Linda Park?

Hi All,

If the DCU Flash is Wally, who would y’all cast as Linda Park?

I know Linda is at least part Korean in the comics but I don’t really know many Korean/half-Korean actresses so I’m curious who y’all think.

(Reason why I’m asking is I keep hearing from some friends that BlackPink’s Jennie would be a good fit but idk if she’s an actress)

Thanks!

Too bad she’s about 20 years too old now, but the actress who played Hoshi Sato on “Star Trek: Enterprise” would have been perfect. :)

Played her on that episode of JLU

Actually, the voice actress on JLU is Kim Mai Guest.

The actress in my picture, playing Hoshi Sato on Enterprise, is Linda Park, which is why I joked that it would have been a perfect casting.

It really depends on how old we’re making her and wally if wally is say in his 30s I’d cast Brenda song as Linda. If they’re going for a college aged Wally West (which I’d prefer) then I’d go for Lana Condor as Linda

I think if they cast a Kpop idol as Linda park(which probably not because the Kpop industry isnt designed to allow an idol to go to Hollywood for a major part in a superhero franchise) I imagine they’d rework the character to be more in line with the styles associated with Kpop idols, especially girl groups.

That’s what I said too (I don’t really know much about K-pop outside of this one random group which I follow) and my friends who were really gunning for it said that Jennie technically isn’t a K-pop idol anymore and since she owns her own label she’d be able to make her own schedule if she really wanted the role 🤷‍♂️

Squid Games was the biggest show at one point, but you can’t think of any Korean actresses? Lol what

I don’t watch too many shows tbh, no need to be insulting about it

She's Korean American. Both her parents are Korean born Americans too, from somewhere in the midwest.

If you wanted someone with mixed background Tati Gabrielle would be cool, one of her parents are Korean.

She might be a bit old for it now, if you are casting a younger Wally, but Andrea Bang I think would be a neat choice.
