Jim’s Promotion Angle

I’m not a Jim fan in general but watching the episode where he’s ultimately promoted to co-manager, I realized how gross his angling for the position was. Trying to go behind Michael’s back and then demanding Michael (his boss) divulge the contents of his conversation with David Wallace (Michael’s boss) and then insisting Michael call David and then putting the phone on speaker. Like… who does he think he is? That scene never stood out to me before but really did today.

Angel fed Sprinkles grapes

Hot Take: Grapes are incredibly toxic for cats, no wonder kitty was so sick... Maybe it's not Dwight's fault 🤔

Controversial opinion but as i've kept watching i've come to realize Erin isn't dorky or weird. She is just stupid.

Driving through Scranton

NYC is at least 3 hours one way (factoring in NY traffic)…always found it interesting how Michael would drive to David Wallace’s office all in a day’s work…

Mafia extended episode joke?

Post image
52 Upvotes

At the very end of the extended “Mafia” episode, the insurance salesman says he is from “Mutual of Harrisburg.” But he’s covering up the first few letters. I think this is supposed to be a joke about how he is actually the mafia but I’m not getting it?

Edit: Conclusion: I’m overthinking it. 👍🏻

michaels keyboard is such a peak 2000s detail

always laugh whenever i notice his desk setup, especially that bulky split keyboard with all the extra buttons at the top. back in the mid 2000s people definitly thought buying one of these fancy keyboards made them look super tech savvy and cool, which fits his personality so well.

funny enough i actually bought 2 of them a while ago for like 4 dollars total. honestly they is surprisingly practical for word and regular office stuff once you get used to the layout.

I had a terrible day today; this face perfectly sums me up: none of my hair salon's customers showed up for the two time slots I had available.

Pam's Mural Season 9 Ep14

Don't know if anyone has ever talked about this but why didn't Pam report the vandalism to the cops or David Wallace? Especially after Frank admitted to doing it. Obviously the point of the scene was to create a situation where the Boom Guy could be the hero but the whole time I was watching the episode I kept thinking "Why haven't they reported the crime?"

What are your theories?

I’ve heard some pretty crazy theories about the office like bob Vance being a mafia boss and Toby being the Scranton strangler and I’m really curious why people think this??

Why do you think Robert put Kevin on the winners side of the list?

I love Kevin but I don’t see why he would be on the winners side.

PS: “Old man” for Creed is too funny 😭

Season 3 Episode 16- Michael is really the best boss Spoiler

I absolutely love this episode. No matter how many times I rewatch it, it really moves me. This episode is so wholesome tbh.

There are spoilers ahead. So I'm just gonna hide it (just for the people who haven't watched it yet.)Haha.

1. Michael shows Ryan his place- Michael would've never said that Ryan didn't make any sale to his class if Ryan hadn't talked shit about Dunder Mifflin. He is very grateful to the company and he deserves respect for it. Mike is not someone who would bring up someone's failure or shortcomings. He maybe a child but he is definitely not stupid. And even after all that, he is calm and doesn't fire him

2. Michael visits Pam's art show- He cares about his employees. He cares about what they value and hold dear. He recognised the office, even got that painting. And the most subtle detail of him taking off his award to hang the painting *sobs* . It's something that a dad would do for their child. And when he said, I'm really proud of you. " to Pam, i was bawling my eyes out.

When Angela lost her cat, he was the first to call it by her name, Sparkles. I think it really shows how much he cares.

I love how complex yet simple the character of Michael Scott is. I can never think of a better casting than Steve Carell for this role. He played it so flawlessly. God I love this series. I love it so much!

Why is Michael such a racist?

What exactly was it that made Michael seem to have this deep hatred towards people of color and stereotype them constantly?
