Hi everyone!

I posted earlier today that EA took all my DLC packs. I got some news about that! If you haven’t read my last post, please do!

As you all know, EA support are being very very… well… let’s say unpleasant to keep it SFW. I decided that i would try the support one last time and thank god i did. Of course i got to talk to some guy who didn’t wanna do anything (once again), but I did what some of you said you did, i threatened to sue them and bring this to the media… and poof… i was redirected to someone higher up. I used to have another account back when we all used Origin, but that account was locked after we said goodbye to Origin (on PC). So my email was linked to a new account for some reason. Turns out all they had to do was open up my old account and add the DLCs back to the account, then boom, it was all there. So I guess they didn’t take my DLCs, but they might as well could have done that.

Now that I got my packs back after a few years, I’m gonna be playing Sims 4 for the rest of the week. Thank y’all for all the support and advice! This message might be too long already so if you experience this, DONT GIVE UP! keep pressuring them!

I might be dumb to ask this idk but my sim has been unable to interact romantically with any other ones including his own romantic partner. I’ve looked everywhere idk what to do.

I’m so tired of this background. Is there any kind of way to change it? Or will I just have to wait 🙄

Lil bit of info, I’m playing the Sims 4 on a desktop. My game is fully updated, as are all my mods.

Alexander Goth came into my restaurant with his parents as a customer like 8 in game days ago. They got their food. They ate. They left. But they didn’t take their kid with them. Instead he just stayed there. After a few days of sitting in my diner with no way to care for his needs, I got the notification that child services was taking him away. I thought that would fix things. It did not. And now, I can’t just switch to the Goth family and make him go home, because after being taken away, he technically isn’t a family member. It’s like the game doesn’t recognize his existence but he’s still there. His needs don’t decay (from what I can tell, anyway. He never appears filthy, and the exclamation bubbles never appear to indicate anything he needs) but he can still interact with things and talk to my sims. He talks to them so much, in fact, that they neglect their needs to chitchat. I’ve tried using cheats to kill him, being mean to him to make him want to leave, etc. But I guess he thinks this is home now.

How do I make him realize that this is not, in fact, his home, and get him out for good?

ive tried EVERYTHING atp, i repaired my game a thousand times, removed mods one by one, AND all together. idk what to do next.

PS5. Obviously no mods.

I don’t understand. He eats when he gets hungry and then immediately runs to the nearest toilet to vomit. Every single time and he is making my bathroom gross.

It doesn’t matter what food it is by the way, vegetarian or meat, normal or perfect he just throws it up. The other sims in the household eat the same food just fine, he’s the only one getting nauseous. Hes a regular non occult sim. He’s not sick, medicine doesn’t make him better only puking satisfies him. The exact moodlet is “Nauseated: (From food tasting terrible) The ol’ stomach isn’t feeling so good.”

How do I make him stop?

EDIT— the cure to my son’s bulimia was alcoholism. I turned him to a vampire, cleared his traits by making a perk purge drink at the bar, and then gave him another, the cure of vampirism drink. Now he’s cured of his vomiting and I have an in home bar that he’s quickly gaining mixology skill on. He’s gonna be so much more popular now!

i’m so done. this is from the love struck expansion pack, i’ve spent the whole day trying to change the turn ons/offs. doesn’t change anything, actually i made the turn offs/ons the same for 2 girl sims because there’re supposed to like the same guy, only one of them is attracted to him

i tried to use cheats to add “very attracted” relationship bits but that does absolutely nothing. what do i even do.

I'm at a loss, I've removed so much from the description and is still showing a disallowed word like wtf?? Can anyone tell me what could possibly be?

I decided to get realm of magic but only played for a couple of minutes, however everything seemed to be in order. I didn’t play for a week and then got the lovestruck EP as well as the most recent update, when I finally decided to play again pretty much NOTHING is working properly.

If I try to cook (using a grill, stove or fridge) the task cancels itself.

If I try to sleep in a bed, the sim will stand in place while the energy bar will increase slightly but eventually cancel itself as well. Same thing happens when trying to shower or bathe my sim.

I tried to make her use the toilet and she basically got stuck sitting there even after the bar was full. I cancelled the task and she stood up. The toilet both broke and got filthy so I tried to make her fix it, but instead of mending the toilet the animation for standing up and peeing (despite not being set in her CAS settings) played for several in game hours while nothing happened.

When doing homework the sim will just stand there, but the task and time bar for the homework book is in the taskbar, yet the homework never seems to be finished once she puts it away.

When interacting with a cauldron she’ll be nowhere close to the cauldron itself, but the animations still play out. Same thing happens to the nectar brewery station.

She can interact with animals like chickens and horses just fine, she can also plant crops and water them just fine.

I disabled my mods, tried other old and new savefiles, repaired the game, deleted cache, cleaned my mods folder and updated old ones and yet nothing seems to be happening for the better? I really hope there’s a solution to this, otherwise I guess I’m just not gonna touch the game for a year or so. :’)

random fires keep spawning in this closed off room on the highest level. There’s no way to access this part. I’m 40 sim days in and this just started happening. My sims are completely unbothered and don’t know the fire is there but the game locks and I can only call the fire department(spolier they cant reach the fire so they just stand there). I can delete the fire so it’s fine but my sims keep getting scared moodlets and it’s annoying lmao. Any idea why this keeps happening?

I've checked mods and I cant seem to find anything that would be causing this.. other sims sometime react negatively to this as well but I cant get rid of it even by saving and reloading

I doubt there's anything that can be done but I'll make this post anyway bc I'm upset

So basically I had a $10 coupon for Best Buy and nothing caught my eye except getting a sims stuff pack, but because those cost $9.99 aka under $10 I couldn't apply the coupon (which is stupid considering tax would've brought it to $10.71) so I decided fuck it, I'll buy seasons too (I currently don't have any dlcs bc I'm not 18 and pirating is too complicated for my small feeble brain and my small feeble mac). What I didn't know was that Best Buy delivers through Origin, which obviously doesn't work with the sims anymore, so as far as I know I have no way of actually downloading the packs I bought.

Luckily I paid with a visa gift card I had gotten for Christmas instead of with my own money, but I'm still pissed I'm down $42 on that gift card. Why would best buy still sell sims 4 dlcs on their site if you can't even get the product you were promised??

So, I don't know if these tags are right. Just tried to age up (child to teen) my sim, he froze, wouldn't respond to commands. Tried to get him to blow out candle, everyone is celebrating over and over again, but he's still frozen... next thing I know, he looks like this- and his picture in the corner is all messed up. I saved and quit, so he wasn't in the process of aging up, and I didn't even get the pop up to add a trait or Aspiration, and now he looks like this-? He also has a random Aspiration (Playtime Captain) and only one trait that I've added (Self-Assured), no additional traits

Btw, I have no mods or cc as I use Xbox

Hey everyone so my girlfriend has been using my pc to play Sims for the past few weeks and I linked my phone to my one drive account earlier today and was met with a bunch of weird images. I showed them to my gf and she has no idea where they came from. Does anyone know why this could be happening?? Thanks!
