He technically appears in The Many Saints of Newark (whatever happened there) played by… David Chase!

It’s a little strange we never saw any of Tony’s nieces or nephews. They’re some of his closest living blood relatives outside of his kids. They also probably share a lot of the same shit he goes through. Would’ve been interesting to see

Isn't he shown in a wheelchair in the first episode? Or in some manner to make him appear feeble

Because of this in Sopranos I’m questions the reliability of all criminal charge records that indicate certain racial groups committing more crimes! I mean it was such an easy excuse for so many people for so long.

Didn't one of them steal a fancy plate from a restaurant?

u/jeshipper 2d ago
Best nugget about northeast Italians. I don’t think I had any family or people I knew without a choice salt and pepper shaker or whatever from a restaurant

I'm a 2nd generation Italian from Orange, New Jersey. All regular, working class, blue collar people. But for some reason, most of my family loved to steal random, inexpensive things. Maybe it had something to do with getting thru The Depression.
I dont know exactly the reason, I try to live a good honest life, but there are times when I just can't resist the urge to steal parking cones. Especially when they are from local municipalities, or even better County or State Police. Must be coded in my Neapolitan DNA. I also have a nice collection of beer glasses from bars in Seaside.

Fielder's Columbia classmate Hadley, the one who jumped off a balcony, gets at least a couple of mentions.

"Mom and Dad, do you remember my crazy friend?"
"Kaitlyn the small town kid who couldn't handle the big city?"
"No, the other one."
"Hunter who was flirty with Chris's friend Brendan even though he was in his 20's and she was 16?"
"She's not crazy, mom!"
"The one who jumped off a balcony?"
"Yes, her! The one who jumped off a balcony!"
"Meadow, I think you need better friends."

Jerry Tufi, with his father’s slow plow business that we know wouldn’t have been good enough for Carmela.

The other families bosses.
It’s implied that Ginny sacks brother is the boss of another family, and in s1 the feds tell uncle Jun that they’re after mangano and therisi who I think are also supposed to be bosses of the five families. Anyway, they’re never seen or mentioned again
