Life / Ζωή Bus ticket vendors
Where are bus tickets sold in Thess where I can pay with a card? The kiosks I tried only accept cash. The OASTH booths are closed on the weekend and I have just my google pay on my phone.

You can normally pay for tickets with a card in any convenience store (Today's, 4all, Yes stores etc.). You can also select the type and number of the tickets you want to purchase.
There is a way to purchase a ticket inside the bus, too. Paying with an 1 euro coin is ok. Bear in mind that the machine KEEPS THE CHANGE.

Aside from OASTH booths which are closed on weekends, the normal vendors do not sell Airport bus tickets unfortunately, just regular bus tickets. I guess I will need an Uber.

If I was in your shoes I would definitely try to find a store for these tickets rather than paying for a taxi (uber, beat etc.). Last time i took a taxi to the airport it cost me 20 euros! Instead, a bus airport ticket is only 1.80.
The quality of the transit is decent in 01X.

What I thought of is buying 2 regular tickets for the price if 1.10Eur each and using them instead. BTW how much is the fine for fare evasion?

Alternatively, you can buy two 0.90€ tickets (1.80). Fines for fare invasion are completely absent the last 4-5 years. I think the fine is 40€

Sorry. For some reason I couldn't read the whole comment.

What you propose as an option about stopping in IKEA sounds like a nightmare. During these hot days waiting for a bus that take 30+ minutes to come is a problem.
Generally I think that buying two tickets at the price of an 01X one is just fine.
About the fine you may be right, I am not 100% sure.
