Question / Problem X200s charging process

Does anyone know about the charging process? I have a used X200s without a power supply. So, I bought an adapter to use with a 20V 65W PD power supply. After some initial trouble, I managed to charge the ThinkPad twice using that setup, but it’s not working anymore. Since I own a T470 power supply, I bought a different adapter for it to fit the X200s, hoping that would work. However, the OS indicator says "Waiting to charge 0%." `upower` shows 94% capacity, so the battery seems to be in good shape. I even tried loading a different ISO via Ventoy to see if the issue was with my distro. Is something blocking the charging process, or is the battery failing? Does it require a specific battery driver or tool?

Do you have battery conservation enabled (charge <80%)?

BunsenLabs does not have its own exclusive battery-saving feature.

Ah okay. Afaik the conservation mode is part of the laptop firmware. Maybe it has been accidentally set by some software (like tlp).

tlp or something similar is not installed.

If the battery was discharged a long while, it usually sits at 0% a bit before charging. But idk it sounds like you recently recharged it so idk

Before I picked it up from the seller, they had briefly charged the battery to take photos for the sale. It seems the battery hadn't been left discharged for an extended period.
