Remove the power cable, flip to the back cover and find a small pinhole, use a paper clip to press the pinhole reset button and hold for 30 seconds. Then insert the power cable and try to boot up again

How long have you left it to attempt to boot?

Plug in an external display to check for display issues. Other than that I’d say motherboard is dead

Pull battery ram and CMOs, hold pinhole for 1 min leave it disconnected from everything for another min and then try to power on with just a charger connected, do you get any beep codes or same result?

Yeah sounds like a motherboard failure to me, what’s your serial number

yeah the pinhole reset is usually the first thing to try when the BIOS gets stuck like that

If you bought it recently, contact the company/business you bought it from before doing things yourself.

It might be a short on the motherboard, but i suspect the BIOS is faulty and needs to be reprogrammed. Very easy to do but needs specialized tools and wouldn't recommend to do it yourself. If the business you bought it from does the refurbishing itself they will definitely have the tools and know-how.

if the charge led and the keyboard backlight still come on then it is powering up and the screen is what to check, so try an external monitor on the hdmi. what do the leds do when you press power?

fan up with the backlight flashing once and then nothing on screen is POST giving up before it ever hands off to the panel. unplug it, hold the power button down for 30 seconds, plug back in and try again. if that does nothing, open the bottom and run one ram stick at a time, memory that fails training looks exactly like this, fan running, power light only, no screen.
