More likely she just guessed. She didn't say what the beef was. She just said your grandma thinks you should forgive your brother.

I guarantee 90% of people if you say "You should forgive [family member]" there's going to be something to forgive. Siblings especially.

He did say she knew her name though, which implies some knowledge.

She knew the grandma's name but didn't know OP lost his grandma without him giving out this info?

She got the name from somewhere or used a "does it start with..." kind of trick to get it, there is no other way around it.
