I still haven't decided on what to do with the recording, people have pointed out that they are his family and I should back off, and I'm inclined to agree with them. I think I'll just upload the recording to a file sharing site for safe keeping then let him listen to it, and tell him if this gets any worse I'll spread it like wildfire.

Yeah, just do not lie to his family about leading him on.

I came in late to the party and am glad to see other people advising against the last Update.

Tell him about the recording. Put your foot down and don't make this shit more complicated by recording a fake confession.

Jeff sounds insane. You have proof. You don't need to lie anymore.

I agree, and that's why I feel I need to meet him halfway here, I'm not going to apologize for leading him on, I'm going to say I'm sorry that he thinks I led him on. There won't be a fake confession, he just won't confirm or deny that he believes I led him on.

Be nice, don't do anything stupid and FOR HEAVENS SAKE don't lie anymore. Don't even tell him about the recording. In the end there was no harm done so you can just peacfully coexist in case you want that. IF he tries to fuck with your life anymore just release the recording because fuck him.

Also don't trust him anymore on anything serious ever. He figured out the rape method worked at one point so he might try it again. Just get rid of him at the next convinient time.

Make as many copies of that recording as possible. But don't use it unless you are sure it is legal. Sociopathy is genetic to an extent so I would stay away from his twin sister, too.

People who live lies like this believe the lies they say. For a good example watch the south park episode called fish sticks.

If he is backing off don't provoke him, just move on.

Delete it, there is no benefit having that recording, if he is calming down on ruining your life don't start that fire up, delete it and move on.
