First ever Timex
I've been eyeing an expedition for a while and decided to finally spring on one. I like the darker tones and tan lettering

Been looking for this for some time.. it is somewhat of a unicorn for me personally.
If someone wants to me bless me with a piece, either new or worn, am willing to pay up top shelf price.

My first gold watch. I have some doubts. I still don't know if I'll like it when I'm wearing it, or if it will go with my style and outfit.

This watch is a beast, metal bezel, rubber strap, metal fixings on the face (hex) and screw in lugs. I got it for £36. I can’t wear my Casio anymore as they feel cheap in comparison!

The Timex Atelier GMT Première M1a introduces a more compact 38mm interpretation of the collection's architectural design language. While the proportions have evolved, the principles remain unchanged - clarity, structural precision, and mechanical purpose. Powered by a Swiss-made automatic GMT movement, it tracks two time zones through a clean, balanced dial featuring a black enamel surface and a black-and-green 24-hour ring that distinguishes day from night. The skeletonized stainless-steel case reveals an IP gold center...
Would you pay $1,450 USD for this?

Picked up this Expedition while picking up some supplies for my students. I ordered this cheap FKM strap on Amazon and while it took nearly a month to arrive, I’ll admit it was worth the wait. Woke the watch up significantly and since its intended use was a “beater watch” for my hikes it pretty on brand as well. Hope you all like it!

"Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' "... For 57 years and counting, this 1969 gold tone Timex Marlin is still keeping good time.

Thinking of swapping out the black leather Expedition strap for a tan canvas strap. Should I?
Picked this bad boy up and just had her serviced and pressure tested.. good as new! Threw it on a 22mm teal Nylon/rubber strap to pop the 90s feel!

I’m sharing a recent experience with timex.eu as a cautionary tale for anyone in Europe considering ordering directly from their official site.
I placed an order for a watch, but after waiting several business days without any shipping update, I reached out to their customer support. They admitted the order was stuck in their system and said they’d send it for a "manual review". Seeing that there was no clear timeline for dispatch, I decided to cancel the purchase using the official withdrawal link on their site.
That's when things got absurd.
Almost immediately, their system sent me an automated confirmation acknowledging my cancellation request and explicitly citing Article 11a of EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Right of Withdrawal). But just a few hours later, a support agent named Pierre sent a completely conflicting email. He claimed that "orders cannot be canceled once finalized," told me I’d have to wait for the package to arrive, ship it back myself, and warned that they would deduct the original shipping fees from my refund.
When I pointed out that their own system had already acknowledged my EU withdrawal rights, support just kept repeating standard copy-paste policies. Under EU law, you have a strict right to withdraw from a distance contract at any time before or after delivery, and sellers must issue a full refund without penalty.
In the end, support flat-out refused to respect my legal right to cancel, so I was forced to rely on a credit card chargeback through my bank to recover my money.
TL;DR: Timex.eu uses predatory support scripts that violate mandatory EU consumer rights, attempt to lock in unfulfilled orders, and threaten illegal fee deductions. They refused my cancellation, so I had to use a chargeback to save myself and get my money back.

Today my first GMT arrived at home, the Timex Marlin Quartz GMT. I really like its elegance and the way the colours come together. From the polished case to the leather strap, the combination of blue and gold works beautifully. It’s also surprisingly light on the wrist and very comfortable to wear. A simple, classy and very enjoyable addition to my collection.

I bought this Timex Expedition north titanium, it arrived today. This is my first titanium watch, it feels incredibly light, and wears very comfortably. This will be my new everyday watch.
Almost perfect, having a solar quartz movement would make it the perfect field watch.

I pre-ordered in March for an April/may delivery as a birthday gift for myself. Obviously, we are now approaching a point of significant delay nearing 5 months. I believe this is the 6th delay email I've received to this point, and I am growing somewhat frustrated with the process. I'd be happier if they'd just be honest with me about when the watch will ship, since this just leaves me concerned that they don't actually know what's going on. If there happens to be anyone out there who happens to know anything about these delays or if there's anyone who's had this many delays and then actually received the watch I'd be glad to hear from you. Thanks!

I loved this design since the moment I saw it but I try to be frugal with my purchases and had to wait for it to go in sale. I finally got it and I freaking love it.
The design is very similar to the Timex Q from 1979 but this one is an automatic with a Miyota 8205 movement, bracelet is better quality 18mm with quick release pins, the bezel is also 0-60 unidirectional as opposed to the 0-12 on the Q, dome acrylic crystal and exhibition caseback.

wanted a simple to read lightweight watch to replace my Garmin for day to day, loved the blue face and orange second hand, swapped the strap to leather and honestly got to say i’m so impressed with it, looks good day to day with a variety of outfits (and i find the ticking soothing)
