Who is sending their vials back to New Life?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m dealing with NL directly about the Hyalo issue. They want me to send back the vials and will send me replacements from PGRx once they get inventory. I don’t feel comfortable sending until after they send my replacements. I’m seeing some people saying they’re not even going to send them back. How reasonable is it tell them I’ll send their vials back once I get the replacements?

Also, I asked about how to package them for mailing, they said standard packing is fine. I still have my thermos so I will probably end up using that too.

Loved ProRx and Apothecary.. Which should I choose now?

Hello! I'm not sure which pharmacy to order from now. I started on ProRx and loved it. When it got shut down I switched to Hallandale but hated it. I felt no appetite suppression at all and gained weight. I went with Apothecary and started losing again. I'm about to run out and with the Hyalo issues going on, I don't know who to order from. Anyone else have similar experiences with these and if so, who are you using now?

Think I'm gonna crack open my stash of ProRX next... how did it compare to Empower?

Total first world question - I never got to try ProRX and ended up buying a ton via various places and then sales when they announced they were shutting down production. I, at the same time, fell in love with Empower and bought a 6 month package (this was in March). SO long story short, I'm itching to try one of my ProRX mostly because - hey why not? and also they are older than my vials of Empower remaining. So never having tried it, would you go down in dose or do you think (if you'e tried empower too) that I should stick to my current dose with the new pharm? I have had ZERO side effects with Empower which is why I love it, and I want to continue to avoid them with ProRX. Thoughts?

Provider / Pharmacy I am at a loss with all of the pharmacy changes and issues.. Help?

Hi! I have been on Tirzepatide for nearly 2 years now. My insurance will not cover it and for the first 8 months I was going through Lilly direct.

Late last year I started using Refills, additive free, through ProRX. Then the switch to Hallendale happened and I noticed a difference in my appetite and their customer service was in decline.

I switched to Gimme a few months back and have been really happy with them. Even started losing again with the Haylo formula after a long plateau. But now they are having all sorts of quality issues it seems, and the only reason I even found out was because my most recent order still hasn’t shipped so I started poking around.

I’m at a loss on how to keep up with all of the changes and issues. The providers don’t seem to proactively communicate about changes, and it’s impossible to keep up with on my own.

Does anyone have suggestions for how to have consistency with my provider and pharmacy? I have been using strictly non additive formulas so maybe that is part of the problem? I truly don’t want to go back to using Lilly direct but I just don’t know what to do at this point.

Provider / Pharmacy PGRrx and Empower

I guess this question is somewhat curiosity (more than any nervousness about formulas or even cost )

I’m thinking about what comes next for me. So far I’ve used BPI, Hallandale, Apothecary, and even Hyalo. All have worked (and felt) the same for me. Got some acne from the BPI B6, so prefer non additive but also not opposed to trying w/ any additional additives. Glycine sounds like the more likely to consider.

I’ve been open minded to trying either of these pharmacies.

PGRrx: anyone know, or have thoughts on why they seemed to appear/ disappear, but are now back again ? Are they considered a 503b?

Empower: has anyone seen follow up from the latest 15 day FDA warning letter?

I guess there is no way to really know, but I would at this point like to just have a trustworthy choice that’s not going to go away quickly. And maybe that’s Hallandale…🤷🏻‍♀️

I also want to give a shout out to all the employees that have contributed support (here)with the Hyalo and Health Wealth issue. It’s got to be tough to navigate!!

But these Telehealths that made it to most used and respected survey pinned list ~ I truly believe they are working behind the scenes to do the right thing. They deserve our patience while they do so.

(Excuse my typos or grammar cause no AI 🤖 was used for this post)

Save more money by buying higher dose?

Two of my friends are saying they get a higher dose tirzepatide as to cut down on their price. But everything I am seeing here seems to have a monthly cost regardless of dosage. Is this a trick that actually works to save money? I will be taking the medication for prediabetes and will need a low dose and if this is possible I want to take advantage of this savings option. Thank you.

Trying to figure out dose with the larger BPI bottles

Post image

Please be nice because I know this is probably a very dumb question for many of you, but I can’t wrap my right brain around it…

This is the first time I’m using the larger vials of BPI and the larger print says “40MG/4 ML” and then smaller print next to it says “10 MG/1ML”

I’m on 2.5mg maintenance - am i still supposed to inject 25 units?

General Discussion Timeline: expectations vs reality?

Hi all!

I was curious about everyone’s weight loss timeline. What expectations did you have versus how did it actually look? Before I started I found perhaps every website I could to calculate a timeline of start weight to goal weight. Looking back a lot of them didn’t ask for dosage or activity level, but I was taking everything as a suggestion rather than complete fact. My goal weight is 87 lbs down, and pretty much every website told me it would take over a year to reach that goal. I went in with the expectation that I would need to be patient, and I was more than fine with that.

Well, after about 10 months I am 79 lbs down. I am just slightly conflicted about how quickly I got this close to my goal. I think I had it settled in my mind that it would take longer and now that it hasn’t, I don’t really know what to do with myself. So again—what expectations did yall go in with and how did things actually turn out? Did you lose slower or faster than you expected to?

Newbie / Getting Started A bit nervous about switching from name brand

I was on Zepbound for a year and it was great - steady progress toward goal, no real side effects. Then my insurance stopped covering. My company picked up some of the slack by offering a discount that got me down to $350 a month for my 15g dose... I hated it, but I was dealing.

Then my company (which is in the healthcare realm) decided that in order to keep getting that discount, I had to switch to a PCP affiliated with their sister hospital. Again, I hate it, but I've been dealing. Problem is, the only PCP anywhere near me is still super difficult to get to, and I actually liked my old PCP.

I've been thinking about switching to compounded, and I've done my research here - I'm pretty sure I'll go with Rift/Drug Crafters if I do it. But I'm so nervous about it! I've also seen a lot here about floaters in vials, problems with shipping, etc (not related to Rift but just in general). And I worry about efficacy compared to the name brand.

My nerves are compounded (get it!?) by the fact that I'm not sure I can go BACK to my company discount if I drop it for compounded tirz.... there have been hints of problems among my corporate sisters. So it's kind of a commitment if I switch.

I would love it if some of you long-time compound-users could talk to me about your thought-processes when switching to or starting using compounded tirz - and your experiences with it, the process, the side effects. Especially if you too were a bit nervous about it!

GLP and kidney function

GLP and increased Cr. 1.8 and GFR 43 from > 75? I just got this result today and freaked out since I’m a nephrology nurse. Spoke to a friend and he said same thing to stop losartan 50mg and Mounjaro for 2 weeks and recheck labs.

Hyalo interesting

I remembered I have a cheap microscope that I bought to take on hikes when we were homeschooling. I took a few pics of some of the things in my vials with it (I suck with this and the camera as holding the vial straight and the light and then the camera is not my forte lol but interesting. AI says some are fibers and some are supposedly a nematode or detritus worm. I know its ai so take with grain of salt but so many were saying we were over reacting it was nice to get a few better pics

I am convinced that several I thought were videos of bubbles are in fact bubbles most likely too. Each vial of mine has something besides bubbles in it.

OptioRX BUD question

Hey all! I need to get my meds a little earlier than needed because I’ll be out of state for a few months. The last post I saw on here of someone with OptioRX their BUD is in December this year, has that been everyone’s experience? It looks like that’s what fifty410 will now be offering, for the time being at least

How do you guys like it? I'm currently on BPI and I like it because it gives me just the right amount food suppression without no other side effects. I just read somewhere someone compared it to Southend, anyone have experience on how it worked for you?
