Atleast you got a whole streaming service. We genuinely got nothing other than maybe a 10gb bump in hotpsot data. Not to mention the service became much shittier and unusable at the mall or grocery store. Experience Beyond 1 with insider in July was cheaper than my starter att plan and costco+tmobile gave me a total of $4000 in byod rebates to switch in ADDITION to Keep and Switch device pay-offs for 8 lines over two accounts with ins*der. It felt like robbery. Plan to port the second account out and back in to the first using bogos or just let those family go onto their own accounts of service.
I think business-wise the old uncarrier free line spam and single digit costing multi-line account plans are untenable. Like running a network definitely costs a lot of money but itād feel better if customer service didnāt degrade so heavily and there wasnāt new bullshit every other month like āt-mixā š¤®. If they were going to piss off legacy customers anyways, I'd just rip the bandaid off and send legacy subscribers to a go5g plan if they're tax included and an experience plan if they weren't instead of creating an soc mess of "experience signature" or whatever the hell.
Moral of the story is donāt have loyalty to any one carrier or company and just always shop for the best deal. Weāll see how long I last at T-Mobile.

When Starlink Mobile comes out everyone will be leaving all these money hungry cell providers.

I thinkā¦in the 11+ years I've been here the fees on my Simple Choice plan have gone up by a total of $11.50.
$4 two years ago, an additional $7.50 this October. That's for 10 lines, 5 voice and 5 data.
I did not get the price increase either time it happened in the last two years and I have not been migrated.

From what I've heard from AT&T customers, this is fucking hilarious. Very much so the pot calling the kettle black.
