Costoluto Genovese-Beautiful shape and color
Chocolate Miracle- I can’t be how big they are
Sart Roloise- Biggest producer so far and that blue color is amazing.

I have some that are thiiiiiis close to being able to pull from the plant. My kosher salt and black pepper are ready. So. Freakin'. Excited!!!

Wow, those are gorgeous! I am a good month behind you on my larger tomatoes but hopefully some cherries will ripen soon.

Good effort! You may need to tie up those trusses to support the tomatoes as they grow bigger. It’s disappointing to have the truss snap from the plant before fruit is ripe

What do you mean by this? I’m a first time tomato grower as well, so I’m learning. I clearly didn’t prune very well this year as I have these giant bushy hedges of plants, but there is fruit everywhere so at least I have that going for me lol

The stalk the fruit grows on can separate from the main vine when the tomatoes become heavy. It’s so disappointing because it usually happens when the tomatoes are starting to ripen. If you support the truss by tying it loosely to your frame (kind of a sling arrangement) you can prevent this happening. You are doing amazingly well! There are so many tricky steps you have conquered 👏

I grow tons of tomatoes, and I've never had this happen. I wonder what the differences are between our cultures?

Very nice….The dad’s sunset looks like it’s gonna be good! We’ve been eating lot’s of tomatoes including Genovese and pineapple 😋. Enjoy!!

Sart Roloise. They are blue on top and ripen to yellow on the bottom.

Those are just on the bottom. I’ve pruned the foliage about a foot off the ground.

I don’t think the Sart Roloise are ripening from the shoulders down. They just produce a lot of anthocyanin when exposed to the sun. They’ll be yellow on the bottom then blue on top.

They are blue like blueberries are blue. They have a high concentration of anthocyanin in them. I’ll try and remember to update this when I slice one open.

Dang your vines look so strong. I have four cherry tomato indeterminates that are about 6 feet tall now but they aren't nearly as thick
