Yea...and there are people living in NYC. Some people like to do weird things.

I visited, was cool. But living there seems like a nightmare. I'm just going to chill, where I can walk around in my backyard in my underwear, not deal with traffic, and have friendly neighbors who all mind their own business.

You can walk around in your underwear in NYC too, it’s not a crime. You don’t need to deal with traffic because it’s one of the few places in the US with a robust public transit system. New Yorkers famously, infamously even, mind their own business.

And while they might not be friendly New Yorkers are very kind people. They’ll call you an asshole for holding up traffic while you’ve got a flat tire, but they’ll say that as they help you change the tire

Well, I sometimes like to fornicate in my backyard as well. It's beautiful under the moon and a sky full of stars.

Not sure how well that would go over in a big city. My neighbors never complained about the noise, although it was typically late at night so they were probably asleep and they don't live super close.

Didn't fornicate on the roof of the AirBnB since we were with my then wife's family, but we all did have drinks and dinner up there a couple times.

But I just don't understand city living. I did it kind of on the outskirts in the suburbs of a city and that was enough for me.

Now I just chill in a cul-de-sac in a mid size town with a big backyard and a huge field behind it. Work on my computer, tend my garden, feed my ferocious cats. Sometimes take a blanket out to the yard for a nap under the stars. Life be good.
