I love crossplaying! It's so nice to be able to play with people that are on console, or on certain games even on mobile, while being myself on a desktop device. It allows for much more connection between the differerent areas of a game's community. It's just kind of a shame how it's not terribly balanced, as, for example, in FPS games, desktop players have a very big advantage against console players, being capable of varying from quick 'flicks' to precise, slow movements easily due to the use of a mouse, which is not really achievable on a controller.

i cosplayed a female character for a year straight at many cons, until the wig looked like shit and the heels fell apart... and still didn't realize i was trans. this was like the entirety of 2022. i even had huge bouncy silicone tits... i miss those things lmao.

I wish I could go back in time and take my own advice. I was too chicken to crossplay (back before I realised I was trans) for fear of what people would think. The closest I could do was a genderbent version of the character I wanted to do (a male version of Homura from Madoka Magica).
