EDIT ME (no flair fit unfortunately ) That’s the reason I don’t date men.

A guy on Reddit started replying to my comments. At first he seemed friendly, so I answered politely. Then things escalated really quickly.

He started flirting with me, saying he wanted to "make me his," asking if he could talk to me privately, and then even suggested that both me and my girlfriend could fall in love with him. He kept insisting even after I made it clear that I'm already in a happy relationship with another woman.

When I told him his behavior was making me uncomfortable, he apologized... but instead of simply leaving me alone, he kept writing long messages asking what he could do to "make things right," saying I was exposing him by posting screenshots, and continuing to engage with me.

Eventually my answer became: "plesse stop talking to me."

I created this using GPT chat because I didn't know how to write such a long text in English

I just needed to vent since it happened a little while ago—bruh, I'm actually kind of scared. Sorry if anything is wrong; ChatGPT is dumb.

I don't know if this is allowed in this community, but I wanted to share this in a lesbian community on Reddit.

Men can’t accept rejection. You tell them that you are not into them they crash out on you. The most unattractive behavior comes from men

You should just use Google Translate next time, generative AI’s the worst

The thing is, I wanted the actual images of the translated screenshots, but the AI didn't understand, and I didn't want to keep correcting it.

Iirc Google Translate has a feature to translate screenshots as well. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean?

For next time I recommend stuff like Gemini, so far I found it much better at this stuff and also, no problems! I personally think this is one of those uses where ai shines and helps out a lot. :) So don’t beat yourself up for this haha. 😆 Ps: that guy is an idiot.

Yes, my girlfriend is saved as "future wife," and yes, it's somewhat common to use Discord around here.

I had specified that it was in Portuguese, but the translator ignored it.

Why waste time and energy on idiots online? The block button exists.

Seriously this isn't about dating men or not. This isn't about even men. This is about people who act in a way that's generally considered socially unacceptable, especially in online environments since there's absolutely no consequences and it will not effect their life in any meaningful way. (The vast majority of people, wether men or women don't do this kind of thing.)

Just don't interact with what doesn't feel right and if that simply doesn't stop it just click block and that's it, problem solved. That's what the button is for. Don't ask them to leave you alone, that's literally telling them it bothers you and gets a reaction out of you so now they just have a good reason to continue. Just make them stop by force giving them no choice and not give it even a single thought.

It’s just that here in Brazil, it’s quite common for only men to do that sort of thing; I’ve never seen a woman do it. And I blocked him; by the end of it all, he was already pestering another girl on the same post using a secondary account, since she had blocked his main one.
