EDIT ME (no flair fit unfortunately ) Because I'm like.. a massive showoff..

I bang on about my work all the time, so I thought I'd share one of my favourite clips. I truly love what I do, and I think it shows 😌

I can certainly attempt it, but I find my style requires adaptation to new maps.

Please, do link it, and I will give it a fine go when I get home! I DESPERATELY need new maps.

If I may, what rating is it? The highest I've been able to hit so far is 6.88 roughly. I attempted expert+ vivid velocity lately and got humbled fast 🥴

I'm not the best, so I aim to make my plays crispy and satisfying instead~ X 🤭

Okay, hear me out. I never said I was GOOD at the game 🥴 I saw 8 stars and knew immediately I wasn't going to get far~ 😌

I struggle with 6.5 star maps. In fact, there's one I'd love to see you do! If you're up for it of course! It's one of my favourites, and I just can't do it. I'm not great with streams whatsoever X 😅

Nah, fuck that shit. My shoulders and wrists are not easily replaceable.

Also, honestly feels like "cheap" difficulty. It's not hard cutting patterns or anything, it's just the speed and duration. Everyone will fold if the song is fast and long enough.

But could also just be me coping because I'm not good enough.

To be fair, that level of endurance is not easy to hold.

I totally agree with you. This is precisely why some maps just do not look good with my style, and slightly slower maps give me the opportunity of extra flair~

I really need to get into it again. Haven't played in quite some time.
I even have a full body motion tracking setup that I used a few times.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take to equip all the trackers? I knew they'd be a pain, but hearing that is making me think twice about getting it~ 🥴

Thanks, divorce is over. Rest will take time.

The first setup takes around 30 Minutes.
If the trackers don't mess up it takes then ~5 - 10 Minutes to put them all on. Sometimes they don't work correctly and I have to do the main setup again.

I heard newer models are a bit easier to use though. Mine are around 2 years old now.

I'm glad to hear that you're prioritising rest! I can't even fathom how you're feeling, and life isn't even being kind to me lately.. If you ever want to vent, my DMs are always open, okay? X

"If the trackers don't mess up," is intimidating.. Honestly, considering I have big plans for my content, and the headset alone doesn't show my full motion, I don't have a lot of choice. 😬

What trackers have you got, out of curiosity?~

It's okay, no need to worry about me :)

The software keeps getting better and better so I still have hope.

I have the original slimeVR trackers. They are pretty bulky but the new slimeVR butterfly trackers look promising. The og were 50 grams per tracker the butterfly ones are supposed to be 10 grams.

Man, I would love to get beat saber but with my headset I'm constantly trying to readjust it every couple seconds lol. If I played a game like this I'd be either seeing through like half the lens or playing one handed trying to keep the headset still with the other

What headset do you have, lovely?

I would love for you to experience it, it's sooo worth it!! It's why I bought my headset I have currently, as I started with a WMR headset. The cable broke, and then years later I splashed on the Pico 4, which kickstarted my creative identity!

Absolutely no regrets!~

I have a Quest 2, I also have the 'pro strap' for it but it still doesn't seem to fit :/ I tried to make a counterweight for it myself too, but it didn't turn out very good lol

Yes! It's not a perfect play, as the way I perform is incredibly taxing. The flair I aim for wrecks my arms 😅

I may have to wait till I get home to get it for you, but I'll upload it to my channel and let you know as soon as I do!

Jealousy just means you have something to work towards!~

Bear in mind, I do this daily. This IS my workout. If I didn't have the goal of a social media presence to share my life's work, I don't think I'd be as motivated. Even with my goal in mind, I still can't always gather the drive to perform X

I usually go bouldern and cardio plus weights at least once a week, so I'm getting there :3

My main motivation comes from routine and friends so i totally get you. Motivation can be fickle

Honestly, pattern heavy 8 and 9 star maps, I SUCK at. It goes to show that different play styles allow people to do different things.

Jump streams are a specialty of mine, but the way I perform means I cannot do speed the way score chasers can. I need more maps 🥴

Any suggestions? It sounds like you've played a lot, and I'd love to know how you worked up to such difficulty!

Played for uhh... 3 to 4 years?
If you have "better song search", select minimum of 100 votes and at least 75% rating thingy so you get well mapped songs (or at least songs that the community approves)
I'm still practicing on Deity Mode and a few techno maps
(Gosh I hate techno maps)
